I'M THE STAR OF 5IVE'S LATEST VIDEO

I got this fan story from a TOTP(Top Of The Pops) mag. The story is about a 16 year old girl called Sian McIntyre who lives in north London. She was lucky enough to have the oportunity to be one of the dancers for the Everybody Get Up video clip. Read on to experience a dream come true.

"When I found out that 5ive needed extras for Everybody Get Up. I wasn't going to miss it for the world. The shoot was supposed to begin at about 4pm so my friend Jenny and I got to the venue in Holborn(Central London) in plenty of time. We were both nervous, expecially when we arrived and saw a huge queue of fans. A hundred would be let in so to make sure we were two of them we joined our friends Chrissy and Laura at the front. Everyone was singing and dancing and the atmosphere was fantastic, expecially when Scott came outside to use his mobile phone! It wasn't until 7pm that a woman arrived to pick stars for the video. You needed to be 16 or over and we were relieved when we got ushered into the building and through to a hall where the video was being shot. I couldn't really take it all in but I didn't have much time to think as we were lined up to learn the dance routine. I was very lucky as I was given a position in the front row of fans. In front of us was a row of professional dancers and then 5ive! As the music boomed out I could see Scott and Rich just a few feet away. Still I couldn't get too excited-I was concentrating on getting the dance right! Each time the music stopped we'd cool down for a few minutes, the boys would get a bit more make-up and then we'd be off again. Things kept changing too-one minute I found Sean and J standing next to me(fab!), then the next I was hauled on to a professional dancer's shoulders. As I bobbed along I could see above the crowd and got a good glimpse of the boys. I couldn't believe my luck. It was all so exciting. Eventually the director called for us to stop. How exhuasted was I? I don't know how 5ive had done this all day. They must have been shattered. As we made our way out of the hall I saw Scott and Abs. I didn't want to disturb them but Scott sweetly asked me if I was OK. 'Of course'. I said-I felt so privileged to be there, how could I feel anything else? We took a few snaps with the band before waving goodbye. When I saw the video on telly a few weeks later it brought back all the great memories of what must be one of the most exciting days of the year so far."
