Midsummer

Midsummer, or the Summer Solstice is celebrated around June 21. This holiday is celebrates the purification of summer, and the abundant life during this season. Typically, a pouch is made out of white material, filled with summer herbs and flowers, then tied with a red string. The pouch is then burned, symbolizing the worries and burdens of life burning up with it.

Midsummer is the best time to perform magicks of all kinds. Protective, love, and healing magicks are especially appropriate. Fresh fruits are standard foods for midsummer.
