Question: I just wanted to say I love you guys and I love your new song! I was wondering if any of the songs on your CD are special to any of you and if so why?
C NOTE: *David*: I'd have to say "Spanish Fly" because that's one of the songs that we wrote that we got to get on the album. And for the guys it's that one special girl that makes your heart start patter faster and she gets you going and that's basically what "Spanish Fly" is about. For me it's not just necessarily one, it's all the beautiful women out there.
Question: What was the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you during a performance?
C NOTE: *Brody*: LOL! We were doing a show in West Palm Beach and we parked a tour bus right next to this little stage. Right before the intro came on, we were supposed to run out of the bus and jump on stage. And so the intro kicks on and we were about to go out, and the first two guys get out of the bus just fine. When I tried to get over the step, I literally leaped forward and my suit tore and flew all over the place. I had to go on stage dancing and my suit was flying all over and I couldn't get the mike in the mike stand and so I was holding it in my hand when the choreography was supposed to be with the mike stand. So I'm still seeing a therapist to get over that. LOL
Question: Does C Note really stand for Creating None Other Than Excellence? That's awesome!
C NOTE: *Dru*: Yes, CNOTE does mean to Create Nothing Other Than Excellence. We use that to guide our own careers. It's like an anthem and we always want to strive to take it to the next level and so it's like our little motto.
Question: How long have you guys been together? Are any of you related or childhood friends?
C NOTE: *Raul*: We've been together for about four years. David and I have known each other since high school. Brody and I met shortly after high school and Dru and I met six months after that so we have known each other for at least 7 or 8 years. It wasn't an incarnation, it was actually another group that David, Brody and I were in and Dru had just moved down from Boston. Dru and I were in a group before that other one. And Dru had gone up to Boston to follow some other music stuff. And they all met and we all just kind of hit it off and asked Dru if he wanted to join the group and that was it.
Question: What was it like to hear your song on the radio for the first time?
C NOTE: *David*: We were all in the car doing the cabbage patch.
*Raul*: We weren't in the car together the very first time, but the first time we were together it was a pretty beautiful scene. We were all just going crazy. We were crying. That's what the C stands for... Cry babies!
*Raul*: The best feeling was we were driving the other day and a car drove up going the opposite way and our song was on the radio and they came and the guys in the car were singing the car and we were like, That's our song! YEAH! And it was guys too, which to us it's like cool, dude, 'cause it's all about the guys.
Question: Where can I find the new Spanish single?
C NOTE: *Brody:* The Spanish single is in the store now I believe. Any kind of record store that has a Spanish section should have it.
*David*: The first single that we released on the B side was a song called "Come Over" and on the other side is a Spanish version.
Question: When will the album be out to us?
C NOTE: *Dru*: May 25th is the scheduled release for that album and we'll be performing on Rosie O'Donnell on the 25th also. And now we're doing the promotional stuff traveling all over and we're going to be on tour with Brandy and then Cher and so everything's just going into overdrive.
*Raul*: And we also get to go home that day to Orlando for a night! So we're happy about that.
Question: Boxers or briefs?
C NOTE: *Dru*: Boxer-briefs.
*David*: Definitely boxer-briefs and the long ones.
*Raul*: Boxer-brief
*Brody*: I don't wear underwear! I'm kidding!
*David*: We did an interview in Miami and the female interviewer asked how we get our women and I said my underwear.
Question: When is a video for the single coming out?
C NOTE: *Raul*: We just filmed the video about three weeks ago. It just got done with editing. We had to go back and forth with what we liked, what the record label liked and what the director liked and you should be seeing it very shortly.
Question: Hey! I was at your show in Huntsville, Alabama, Saturday. I just wanted to say that it rocked. My friend Ashley and I wanted to know if you'd marry us?
C NOTE: *Raul*: Yes, we will. Are you ready to get married right now? That's the question. If you are, then we'll do it right now.
*OnlineHost: Do you get a lot of proposals?
C NOTE: *Raul*: If this is the Huntsville show, it might be the same girl that asked us there because we did an autograph signing for a couple hours. Two girls came up and asked us to marry them and so I'm wondering if it's the same two girls from Huntsville.
*David*: Huntsville is definitely rocking!
Question: Hey C Note! It's Sexy Heather & Rachel. We just wanted to say you guys rock and we are looking forward to the next show.
C NOTE: LOL!
*OnlineHost: Do you know them?
C NOTE: *Dru*: They come to every show that we have ever done. Thanks for tuning in! Thanks for the compliments. We'll be in Orlando for grad night at Sea World. And we're also doing Sea World two dates.
*Raul*: We love them.
Question: When is C Note going on tour?
C NOTE: *Brody*: June 18th we'll be on tour with Brandy and Tyrees is on that tour and Silk is on the tour. And it's going from June 18th to August 2nd and then Cher starts a little bit after that. So all summer long we'll be booking and going out with Brandy and Cher. Keep your fingers crossed because some guy named Ricky Martin might be going on tour with us too!
*Raul*: We picked the divas to tour with on purpose! That was our move!
Question: If you could put anything in a time capsule for the millenium to be opened at a later date, what would it be and why?
C NOTE: *Dru*: That's a very good question.
*Raul*: I would definitely put in the names of the victims of the Colorado High School event. Because it's just to remind us of some of the stupidity that goes around and to make sure that doesn't happen again.
Question: I just want to say that I have been to 5 of your concerts in Orlando and they get better each time. I have one question for you... If there was one thing that you wish people had told you about show business before you got in it what would it be and why?
C NOTE: *Raul*: I think we can each answer differently.
*Brody*: With me I didn't realize that you don't sleep or eat when you're in the music business, you got no time. You have to wake up at 3AM to do a radio or newspaper or something. In between time we're like, Can we eat? And it's like no, and your day ends at like 12AM. We've averaged in the last couple weeks maybe 4 or 5 hours a night of sleep.
*Dru*: But you look great, Rock, you could have been the greatest!
*Raul*: With me it would have to be the traveling and being away from home. It's something that we knew would happen, but it's something that we weren't really ready for. Even when you're at home you don't have time to see your friends. You make time for your family, of course, but there's so little time that you don't get to see your friends and a little bit of sleep.
Question: Are you guys good friends with the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync?
C NOTE: *David*: Actually, we wanted to challenge them to a couple of confrontations. We don't know if they'll take us up on that.
*Raul*: We're just joking. We're friends with them. David's not joking though.
*David*: Anyway.
Question: If there was an all out tag team fight, which combination would win, 'N Sync, 98 Degrees or you?
C NOTE: *Dru*: Oh come on people!
*David*: Actually you can just let them all gather up and come on!
*Raul*: All 14!
*David*: Bring 'em on!
Question: Estoy en amorada de Ustedes! Ustedes cantan y bailan muy bueno!
C NOTE: *Dru*: Mucho gracias mi amore!
*David*: Mucho gracias
*OnlineHost: And for our English viewers...
C NOTE: *Brody*: We tell them, we love you all!
Question: Are you guys a man band, or a boy band?
C NOTE: *Raul*: People are going to categorize us wherever they want to put us. For now, wherever they want to put us, that is fine for now. But when they get to see the show and hear the music they'll realize there's a separate C NOTE category.
*David*: Kind of like a man-child.
Question: Do you have girlfriends?
C NOTE: *David*: Be truthful y'all.
*Brody*: I'm married. I've got two kids and I don't get to see them that much sniff sniff (crying). No, being on the road, doing what we do, it's not like we don't want girlfriends, we just can't find ones to keep us but maybe a month or two. A girl can't handle it, they're like, "you're never home!"
*Dru*: No.
*Raul*: But we date!
Question: Raul, what is your favorite cologne?
C NOTE: *Raul*: My favorite cologne is Curve by Liz Claiborne. I expect some boxes now. I love that cologne. I've used it for a few years now. It's like weird because we all put on cologne before we go out and perform and it's like people think it's weird because we're going to be out there sweating and stuff. But it makes you feel like you're going out.
Question: What's the meaning of your song "Wait Till I Get Home?"
C NOTE: David: It just means you know when you have that special somebody at home and throughout the day you imagine all the things you want to do with that person. You just want to let them know, just wait till I get home because you're gonna do it. That's the meaning behind it. When you just can't wait to get home to that special person.
Question: What's the craziest thing a fan has done to meet you guys so far?
C NOTE: *David*: One said her father owned the hotel that we were staying at.
*Dru*: Well, she was driving next to us and following us back to the hotel and pulling her coat up over her face so we couldn't see who she was.
*Raul*: There's been a smart group of fans that, instead of waiting at the exit, like everybody else does, they waited in their car around the corner and spotted out for the limo and saw which one we got into and followed us back to the hotel. So actually when we saw they had gone through all that trouble just to meet us, we said, okay, we got out and said you didn't have to go through all that and applauded them.
Question: What is your favorite Star Wars character?
C NOTE: *Dru*: Luke Skywalker.
*David*: What's that, Bobafet the guy who carries the rockets.
*Raul*: Han Solo.
*Brody*: I like Chubaka because he reminds me of Raul! LOL
*OnlineHost: Thank you for coming by!
C NOTE: Thanks
