Join 'Epitaph: The King Crimson Web Ring'

  • If you have a website dedicated to King Crimson and the related artists, you may join 'Epitaph: The King Crimson Web Ring' (See below about who is regarded as 'related artists')

  • The website you added to the Ring, must deal with the following Musisians/Bands:
  • King Crimson (Including Projekct One/Two...)
  • Robert Fripp, Michael Giles, Greg Lake, Ian McDonald, Peter Sinfield
  • Mel Collins, Peter Giles, Gordon Haskell, Andy McCulloch, Boz Barrell, Ian Wallace
  • Bill Bruford, David Cross, Jamy Muir, John Wetton
  • Adrian Belew, Tony Levin
  • Trey Gunn, Pat Mastelotto
    ... And Also Keith Tippet (and The Keith Tippet Group), the guest performers in 1970-1974:
    and Richard Palmer-James, provided the lyrics in 1973-1974.
  • The joining process is thus:
    1. Fill out the Form and Click "Submit Site" to submit the matter to the ring.

    2. Get HTML to link from your website to the Ring.

    3. Request the Ringmaster to add your site to the Ring.

    Password:    		 Please choose a password. (Don't forget it!!)
    Keywords: Enter up to 20 keywords to describe your site.
    Description: Enter a short description of your site.
    Clear the Language written in your site, if not in English.

    Step 2. Get HTML to link from your website to the Ring.

    1. Filling out the Form above, your site information is in thr ring QUEUE. Your site is not yet in the Ring. To add it to the Ring, you must get/download and insert the HTML Block to your website. Webmasters of the Official websites may put it into link pages of your sites.

    2. Edit the HTML you dowmloaded above. Replace "__YOUR_SITE_ID__" to your Site ID, which is shown in a registeration email you received just after submitting the site in Step 1.

      For example, if your SITE ID is 3, the CODE for "PREV 5":
      "http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=epitaph;id=__YOUR_SITE_ID__;prev5"

      will be:
      "http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=epitaph;id=3;prev5"

      Do thus also for the other CODEs for "PREV", "NEXT 5", and "NEXT".

    3. The HTML looks thus:

    [PREV] [SITE LIST] [NEXT]

    Step3. Request thw Ringmaster to add your site.

    1. As I mentioned above (Step. 2.1.), you are NOT YET in the Ring, but just in the QUEUE. To complete the addition to the Ring, you MUST request Ringmaster to add your site by email.
    2. After the Ringmaster confirms that the HTML Block is on your King Crimson site, he will add you to the Ring.
    3. Finally, you become a member of "Epitaph". To edit your site information Click "Members" on Epitaph Homepage.
