chapter twelve

Scott looked around the front of the bus. None of the girls were watching, obviously. Scott glanced back at Bob and Bob smiled cunningly. Scott, acting like a kid afraid of the dark going into a black hole, emerged from the safety of the backside of the bus and was greeted with "OH MY GOSH THERE HE IS!" and at least twenty flashes going off.

The one security guard standing by the girls ordered another to come and watch his "post" while he went to talk to Scott.

When the girls were held back by another guard, the one that had been standing by the girls walked over to where Scott was standing waving for pictures being taken.

"I'm sorry, but you're going to have to leave. You're causing a ruckus." The guard, Sam his name tag said, warned Scott.

Scott gave him a "who are you to talk to me like that" look and said, "I'm paying your salary."

The guard gave a stern look, but knew it was partially true. "Is there something you came out for, Mr. Moffatt?" The guard said as if it was an employee-to-boss question.

Scott smiled. "Actually, yes." Scott looked around the Sam and directly at a blond that was taking a picture of Scott. He pointed. "Her."

Sam whipped his head around and stared at the girl. "You want her? To come backstage?" Sam asked. He obviously didn't believe Scott.

Scott nodded. "Will you plese give her a backstage pass sticker and guide her back behind the back side of the bus." He requested.

"You're sure?" Sam asked. Scott got angry.

"Of course I'm sure!" Scott stormed.

Sam nodded and looked at his shoes. He turned and walked back to the group of girls while Scott went back to where Bob was positioned behind the bus, where he wasn't visible to the crowd of girls.

"Well?" Bob said when he saw Scott round the front of the bus.

Scott grinned. "She's comin'." He said and folded his hands like Bob had. Scott stood next to Bob and they were silent. Suddenly they heard a glass-shattering ear drum-breaking scream like they had never heard before.

They heard feet pounding as they hit the ground beneath the girl's feet. Sam was trying to run after her.

All in a moment the blond rounded the front of the bus and ran up to Scott, putting her hands on his face and kissing him so hard is neck snapped back.

The girl pulled back and ran over to Bob. She stared at him in awe for a second and screamed. Bob's eyes fliched as the piercing sound rang out not one foot away.

Scott rubbed his neck. It hurt. The girl didn't kiss Bob, she just stood there screaming. Then she'd stop and scream again. This continued until Bob couldn't take it anymore. When she paused, he covered her mouth with his hand.

"Get a grip." He ordered.

The girl jumped up and down frantically. She screamed once Bob removed his hand from her face.

Scott ran around the front of the bus where Sam was standing with Dave and Clint, wondering what all the noise was.

Scott, panting, begged Sam to take her away. Bob was trying to say something but it was muffled.

As Sam, Scott, Dave and Clint went back to where Bob was, they found the girl frantically touching Bob in places he didn't want her to touch him. He was trying to get her off of him without touching her too much.

Sam hurried over and pryed the girl off of Bob. It looked, to the guys, as if she was trying to hump Bob. He looked disgusted, mad, angry, and about ready to kill the girl.

When Sam got a hold of the girl, kicking and screaming, Bob ran and climbed on the bus, lipstick all over his face, arms, and chest.

Bob ran into the bathroom to wash it off.

After five minutes of scrubbing, the lipstick looked only like about fifty miniature hickeys. "Geez!" Bob said as he came out of the bathroom on the bus.

Scott, Dave, and Clint were waiting in the bunk area. Scott had managed to wipe off most of the lipstick from his face. Clint muffled a laugh when he saw his identical brother. He couldn't help laughing, so he went into the back of the bus.

"If this wasn't so f------ funny I'd beat your ---, Scott." Bob said and cracked a grin. Dave burst out laughing. So did Scott. He had a guilty face as he laughed.

"I'm sorry, Man." Scott laughed.

Sheila walked on the bus in a hurry. "SHOW TIME BOYS!" She yelled and disappeared again.

The guys finished laughing and got off the bus. The girls had obviously taken their seats and now it was time for the show.
