Beep Beep Beep Beep!
Kellyn slowly opened her eyes and groaned. First day of school. She looked at her clock and hardly believed it was 6:30 already.
"Noooo..." She grumbled quietly. Even though her eyes were cloudy, Kel rolled out of bed and hit her alarm clock. She stumbled over to her lightswitch and flicked it up. The light was bright in her eyes.
"Kellyn! Time to get up!" Mrs. Archer yelled from her bedroom. Kel grumbled.
"Yeah...I know..."
Kel walked over to her closet and tried to decide what to wear. Finally she decided on a pair of Old Navy jeans and an blue Abercrombie & Fitch shirt that had a faded flower design on the sleeve.
She brought the clothes over to her bed and laid them out. She took her night clothes off and slipped into her outfit. She hated the first day of school.
Kel finally found room 301 and walked in. She recognized everyone except for two identical guys sitting in the middle of the room. The perfect cliche in a movie, the only seat left was to the right of one of the guys. Kel smiled weakly and put a strand of hair behind her ear. She was holding onto her schedule with the other hand.
She slid in the seat and didn't say anything. She recognized all the people in the class but really didn't ever talk with them. Acting extremely interested in her schedule, Kel ignored the two guys that were staring at her. When she couldn't take it anymore, she looked at them.
"Hi." One said. "I'm Dustin."
Kel nodded. "I'm Kellyn." She said and looked at Dustin's identical twin.
He perked up. "I'm Ryan." Dustin's brother said.
Kel gave a short fake one-laugh and looked back at her schedule.
"You live here long?" She said, not looking at the guys.
Dustin shook his head. "No, just since two weeks ago. My dad got transferred here."
Kel nodded again and looked at them. "Oh."
"Do you think maybe you could show us around school?" Ryan asked.
Kel looked at him in astonishment. "Are you serious?" They were rather cute.
"Sure why not." Dustin replied. Kel smiled. Maybe this day wouldn't be so bad after all.
