Scott climbed down off of Julie's bed and got back into his own. He looked up at her and smiled. She smiled back and Scott turned off the light.
"You either, huh?" Bob laughed.
Julie smiled. "Is he always like this? How unbearable." Julie said and noticed Scott, too, was waking up.
In the other room, Clint and Ashley were just waking up because of the talking in the bunk area. Ashley did a little morning squeal. [Note to the Reader: You KNOW what I'm talking about here. I KNOW you make that morning squal too!]Clint smiled and looked at Ashley.
"Mornin', Princess!" Clint used the nickname again.
Ashley smiled. "Oh no! You're not going to call me Princess all the time now, are you?" She giggled, barely awake.
"That's right." Clint said and started to get up. "I wonder where we're going for vacation..." Clint said to no one in particular.
"I wish I could come with you." Ashley said quietly.
"Me too. I don't think dad and Sheila would allow that though. They are totally against girlfriends." Clint explained, reaching for a pair of crumpled Roots athletic pants.
Ashley questioned. "Why?" Clint shook his head.
"They think..." Clint started, but then changed quickly, with Ashley watching, into his pants. He took his shirt off and revealed his chest as he talked. "That the fans will be offended or something. I'm not exactly sure."
Ashley watched. "Oh. Well, they're not really any kind of fan if they get upset over that are they?" Ashley said, but she knew it was true. "Well that sucks." Ashley continued without giving Clint a chance to say anything. Just then, they heard Sheila and Frank come on the bus. They both walked into the bunk area, Ashley still in Clint's clothes.
Sheila smiled when she saw Ashley, with Clint's clothes on and her hair messy and disheveled.
Frank stood with a his mouth set in a line until he started to talk. "Guys...we have a couple weeks...two...for vacation. Where do you want to go?" Frank asked.
Bob, Clint, and Scott were all thinking the same thing. All in unison, the three guys announced quickly and a little loudly, "BILLERICA!"
