Urban Ego alternative rock from Austria

my opinion:

One of Austria's most exciting alternative acts, already gained massive success at the past editions of Austrian festivals "Forestglade" and "2 Days A Week". Their song "(Higher Than the) Venus Sun" has been voted #1 on the MTV-Undiscovered web site. There's a bright future ahead, as the good songwriting and stage act sets them one step ahead of other Austrian bands.

Urban Ego was formed in 1996 by songwriter Richie Sonix, lyricist Chris Glenn and drummer Flow Freak. A year later they entered an Austrian music competition, which brought them the prestige of being Austria's best newcomer band. In october 2000, they won second prize in a contest organized by the well-known German music video TV network VIVA.
