Sloan Dreams

‘My first Sloan dream, that I remember, took place at my old school. There was a contest that involved a badminton tournament, and spreading beans on to a piece of paper. The winner got to eat lunch in the cafeteria with Chris and Jay. I didn't win, so I cried.'
‘I dreamt once that, somehow, I managed to get in to see Sloan at a bar. I had third row seats, but people kept on standing in front of me, so I'd yell at them. Also my gym teacher was there (he had better seats) and he was wearing a purple sweat shirt.'
‘The other dreams are sort of sketchy, one time I had one that Chris was bald, (sort of like Sizz's dream). Another I was trying to get home to see "The Sloan Pajama Party" on much, but I had to run away from the infamous Boogy man to get there.'

‘My mom had a dream once that Sloan were all asleep on my bed. She was yelling at them to get off, of course.'
‘She also had a dream that she had Sloan over for dinner, and nobody but Patrick was eating anything. She said Patrick's a "good boy"'
‘My mom must have a thing about feeding people. She also dreamt that she baked Chris a pie, and because she thought he was looking too thin.'

‘I had a dream I hacked into pat's e-mail and his e-mail account was like for girls like something only for girls. Same dream pat was with me in my house and we were both online here and I was on the chat and nobody believed me I had Patrick with me'

‘At one point (in the dream) I was in the school cafeteria and as I turned around to talk to a friend, I elbowed Chris Murphy right in the nads. I apologized, and then I did it again five seconds later. This went on for a good 30 seconds. And that's not even the embarrassing part.'
‘I had yet another Sloan-related dream last night. But none of the Sloan guys were actually in it, my friends and I were just sitting on a bus singing 400 Metres (perhaps because I listened to it last night.) it was kind of Magical Mystery Tourish.'
‘This time it was the first day of school, and I was running around like mad, because I didn't know where any of my classes were. I had my dog, Maxwell Edison, with me on his leash. We were running up the stairs in the North-eastern stairwell on the boys side of the school and we quite literally bumped into Patrick Pentland (note: this is the first ever Sloan dream of mine in which Patrick has been present.) And then he was just telling me that my dog was really nice, and I was like "Damn, I have to find my class! Can we meet you at lunch? I'll save you a seat in the caf." It was weird I assure you!!'

‘I have lots of Sloan dreams....And they've all been very weird dreams. I had one where Patrick quit Sloan and became an astronaut, one where Jay saved me from falling off a bridge, and one where Chris and my mom got into a fight, among many other dreams. But I can't remember all of the details about most of them. I should've written them down or something. And Andrew has never been in any of the dreams for some reason.'

‘I'm not the kind of person who has dreams about bands or anything, but for some reason I had a Sloan dream the other night. From what I can remember the band re-released a single here in the UK ('Take It In' for some reason - I don't remember the song being in the dream, but do remember the funky cover from that single being there), but limited the release to 250,000 copies. I think the single sold out and the only real part of the dream I remember is seeing the guys and telling them they made it to Number 3 in the charts and that meant they could play on Top Of The Pops. We were in the BBC Studios and all of a sudden the single cover appeared on a big screen on the wall and the band took to the stage. It either ended there or I can't remember the rest.'

‘I had one Sloan dream--I got to be the girl who got chosen to sing I Can Feel it. Anyone see the show at the Capitol Theatre in Windsor about 4 yrs ago? I dreamt that I got to be that girl-- She is soooo lucky.'

‘Imagine a camp ground..yes Sloan is camping !?!?! Patrick and Chris shared one tent and Jay and Andrew shared one. Then Andrew says to jay "Don't wear your shoes in the tent, jay, yer gonna get the sleeping bags all dirty"..and jay whines.."i'm taking them off..don't worry"..and that was it..pat and Chris were cracking up them..why did i dream that? I dunno. Also..Andrew was wearing these like sneakers with velcro straps instead of laces...weird eh? Remember those? grade 3 rocked!'

‘I had a dream about Sloan once. It was actually mostly Andrew. I jammed with Sloan and we played some of their tunes and some old songs by a few sixties band. Then afterwards Andrew and I were hanging out and having some drinks and laughing like madness. Very cool but very strange...'

'I was at a party at my mom's work, and I was extremely bored. Then all of a sudden Sloan walk out and start playing. So I freaked and ran and sat right in front of Chris. Then chris sat down beside me and asked for a request. (I don't remember what I said..). Then I stood up and walked away (I don't know what on earth possessed me to do that) for a minute, then I went back to watch them some more and I saw my friend Ben standing around. so I yelled at him to come watch my favourite band with me, and I dragged him up right in front of the Sloaners. Then they started playing the opening notes of "Coax Me" and I woke up.'

'There were a bunch of people at my house. And Chris walked by...But he had that scary moustache thing. And I got annoyed and made him get rid of it. I annoyed him, too.'
