The Backstreet Murders ~Chapter 1~ Finally the Backstreet Boys tour has come to an end.  It's always sad when it ends, but this time the guys are happy.  Why?  You ask.  Well they are all going to Jameka.  Who wouldn't be happy about that?  The best part is, it's not going to be all that crowded there.  Did I say that was the best part?  Oh, well I meant that was the next best part.  The best part is that their girlfriends are going with them.  Well Nick doesn't have a girlfriend though.  If only everyone knew that going to Jameka would be such a tragedy, some of them would still be alive today. ---------- "Where are they?"  Emily asked.  "We've been waiting here for an hour!" "I have no clue."  I said.  "But I hope they get here soon." "Yeah me too."  said Samantha (We all call her Sammy) My friends, Emily, Julia, Sammy, Brianna, Hannah, and I have been in the hotel lobby in, yep you guessed it, Jameka, for about an hour for, Nick, Brian, AJ, Howie, and Kevin.  (That's a lot of names.) "OK if they aren't there in like 15 minutes I'm going back to my room."  said Julia.  She was such an impatient person.  But she is one of my best friends.  She has a very odd mind but is very cool. "Oh don't get you undies in a bundle Julia they'll be here."  said Hannah. We sat there awhile longer talking about what we were going to do if the guys ever got there.  Finally, about 10 minutes later, they walked in the door. "Well it's about time."  Julia said rolling her eyes. "Well at least they got here."  I said looking on the bright side. "Sorry about being so late,"  Kevin said as the guys joined us,  "we lost out bags." "Well then what's in your hand?"  Brianna asked. "We found them."  Nick answered. We all went to our rooms while the guys put their stuff away.  The hotel we were in was very nice.  It was very big and had 3 pools.  It was one of the nicest hotels on the whole island. ---------- It was already getting late so we decided to stay at the hotel.  I didn't really care since I was sharing a room with AJ.  I happened to really like the idea of staying in.  I've really missed AJ and I wanted to spend some time with him without the others.  But we ended up not doing much talking.  We were both so tired that we ended up falling asleep in each others arms. ~Chapter 2~ *The next day* The beach was packed.  We all managed to find somewhere to put out stuff which was amazing since there's 11 of us. "Come on let's go swimming."  Nick erged and ran towards the water.  We all ran after him and we fooled around for awhile splashing around, dunking each other underwater, you know, little kid stuff.  The beach looked beautiful.  White sand and clear blue water, it just made me want to live there.  Even though I have seen a lot of it, it just seemed a lot different than what we had at home. The day went by fast.  We ended up leaving at about 5:00.  I was sure that I would be sun burned.  We decided that we would go eat after we changed at the hotel. We found a small restaurant next door.  We all sat at a huge table towards the back. "You know we should do vacations like this more often."  Emily said happily. "I've wanted to come here since I was little."  I said.  "It's so beautiful here." "I don't think I would be able to spend another vacation with you guys without trying to kill myself first."  said Julia. "Julia are you ever happy?"  Hannah asked annoyed.  "You always seem to kill any happy moment with your stupid little comments." "Yes I'm happy sometimes.  I'm just not very fond to some of you that's all."  she said.  "Then why are you here if you don't like us?"  asked Sammy. "Oh I like you guys and everything,"  Julia answered.  "I just don't like him."  she pointed to Nick as she said it. "Geez Julia if I knew you were going to be rude I wouldn't have invited you here."  said Hannah. There goes Julia acting all childish again.  I try and stay out of those stupid discussions.  They don't go anywhere. We ordered out food and talked ignoring Julia's rude comments. ---------- *At the hotel* "I don't know what has gotten into Julia."  I said to AJ.  "She's never that rude." "Yeah she was getting really annoying."  he said. I went to the bathroom to see how burnt I was.  My back was very red and it was already starting to hurt.  My arms were red too, but not as bad as my back, and it was the same with my face.  I groaned and walked out of the bathroom.  AJ and I watched tv for awhile and soon fell asleep. ~Chapter 3~ The weirdest thing happened the next morning.  Julia and Nick were gone.  We all agreed to meet in the hotel lobby but they never came. "Hannah you're sharing a room with Julia.  Didn't you hear her leave?"  Sammy asked. "No."  she answered.  "I'm a deep sleeper.  I don't hear anything." "You don't think they're together do you?"  I asked. "No you know how much they don't like each other."  said Kevin. "Yeah but they are both missing so they have to be together."  I said. "Well we can't just sit here and wait all day."  Howie said. "Why don't we just split up and do our own thing today?"  Brianna suggested. "If Julia or Nick comes back they'll probably just stay here."  said Sammy. "They're big kids they'll be fine."  AJ said.  "Now let's get out of here." We all split up for the day and did our own thing.  We decided to meet back in the lobby later that night and we would go out to eat. AJ, Hannah, Brian, Brianna, and I decided that we would do a little shopping while, Kevin, Howie, Emily, and Sammy went to do a little site seeing or whatever it was that they were going to do. "Hey Halie look at this."  Hannah said holding up this little gorilla with 2 bongos attached to it.  "I should but this for Steve."  We both laughed.  The others looked at us funny. "You see,"  I started to explain, "We think our friend Steve is a little monkey so this would be perfect for him.  It's hard to explain you would have to be there to understand." They went back to looking around the store and so did I. "Did you buy it?"  I asked Hannah referring to the gorilla. "Yep."  she said holing up the bag. "Cool." "Yeah you know he's going to kill me for it." "Why?"  Brian asked. "Because he hates it when we teas him about it."  I answered. ---------- We all wandered back to the hotel about 10 minutes early so that we could put our stuff in our room. "AJ how many pairs of sunglasses did you buy today?"  asked Brianna with a little grin. "Not that many."  he answered.  "Only 4." "And 3 hats."  I chimed in. "Hey I wouldn't be talking."  he said.  "You got 6 pairs of shoes." "Maybe Julia is back.  If she is I'll let you know."  Hannah said and went into her room. "I'm going to Nick's room to see if he's there."  I said.  I gave AJ my stuff which included my "6 pairs of shoes".  Actually it was only 3.  Then I went up to the next floor to Nick's room. I knocked on the door. "Nick?"  the door was open.  I slowly walked in.  "Nick are you in here?"  There was a light coming from the bathroom.  "Nick?"  I pushed the door open.  No one was there.  I noticed that the shower curtain was closed.  I slid it open and screamed bloody murder.  In the bathtub was Nick, with a knife in his chest, and his clothes soaked in blood.  There was blood running down his face and his eyes were wide open in terror. ~Chapter 4~ I ran out of there as fast as I could.  I took the stares so that I could get to me room faster.  I just about flew down the stares though.  I was going so fast I almost fell.  I ran into my room and pretty much knocked AJ over. "Hey what's wrong?"  AJ asked looking really worried. "Hey you guys Julia's.....not...here...ok what's wrong?"  Hannah asked as she walked in the room. "N-N-N-Nick."  was all I could say.  I got weak in the knees and fell to the floor.  I never thought that I would ever see a dead body before.  I never wanted to either.  I almost passed out. "Oh my god.  Halie are you all right?"  AJ asked.  He helped me back up to my feet.  I clung to him pretty tight. "Nick......Go to Nick's room!!" AJ, Hannah, and I went back upstairs to Nick's room.  I didn't go inside.  I'm not stupid do you really think that I would actually go back in there?  Yeah right! Hannah and AJ both came out very pale. "We have to call the police."  AJ said.  I hugged him and just broke down crying.  Nick was gone.  He was so young. ---------- We all gathered in Hannah's room after all the police and detectives left.  I was still really shaky after seeing what I did.  It seemed to be even more painful after they took him out of the room. "We have a murderer around here somewhere.  But the question is who?"  Kevin said. "Well how are we supposed to know?"  Emily asked. "Maybe it's Halie."  Sammy said.  "She was the one that found him." "Hey I didn't do it!"  I yelled. "Well maybe you did it."  Hannah said looking at Sammy. "Hey let's not blame each other here."  Howie said.  "It probably wasn't one of us anyway." "Where is Julia?"  I asked.  "How do we know she isn't dead somewhere?" "We don't."  answered Brian.  "Unless we find her." "I don't think I would be able to see another dead body."  I said. "I can't believe Nick is dead."  Emily said with tears in her eyes. "We can't think about that right now."  AJ said.  "We have to figure out who killed him." ~Chapter 5~ *That night* I had a lot of trouble sleeping that night.  Every time I closed my eyes I would see Nick's eyes.  His terror filled eyes.  AJ couldn't sleep either.  All he could see was Nick too.  Why would someone want to kill him?  What did he do to deserve that?  I ended up crying myself to sleep. ---------- *The next morning* The next morning Brianna came beating on the door. "You get that."  AJ groaned. I got up and opened the door.  Brianna blew right by me and into the room. "Well hello to you too."  I said. "Brian's dead!"  she stammered.  She started to cry. "What?  How?"  I asked as tears started to stream down my face.  AJ was wide awake now. "I got into a fight with him last night, so I stayed with Hannah."  she explained.  "This morning I went to talk to him but he was dead."  she grabbed my arm and pulled me across the hall and into her room.  I was trying to keep back.  I didn't want to go in there.  I wouldn't be able to take it.  Brian was my best friend.  But she finally got me in there after many tries.  There he was on the bed slashed and cut up all over the place.  The bed was soaked in blood.  You could hardly tell it was him, he was cut up so bad. I screamed and cried even more.  I turned around to go back to my room.  AJ was standing in the doorway staring at our dear friend with a tear rolling down his cheek. The police soon came and we went through the same crap as we had before.  This time the police were getting suspicious but they couldn't do anything to us since they had no evidence that we did anything. ---------- We all had to go to a different hotel because of the murders.  It was just down the street. Brianna, Hannah, Emily, Sammy, Howie, and Kevin came to mine and AJ's room to talk. "We are dropping like flies!"  Sammy stammered. "I think we should get out of here."  said Howie. "Not until we figure our who is doing the killing."  said Hannah. "What if it's Julia?"  I said.  "I mean, she disperse and 2 people die.  Don't you find that a bit strange?" "Yeah I know what you mean."  Hannah said.  "What if it is her?" "Maybe we should all stay in one room tonight."  suggested Emily.  "Who ever has their own room ends up dead." And that's what we did.  That whole day we stayed in our room and we spent all night as well.  Only that didn't help.  Two more were missing the next morning.
