I'll Be Waiting
~Prologue~
It's been about 5 months since the day in the airport. A.J. and I have talked on the phone every once in awhile, and written to each other almost every day. But for some reason we haven't talked to each other at all this past month, and he hasn't written me either. I know it's probably because he and the guys have been so busy with their tour, but all I can think is that he found someone else. I know anyone would think that. A celebrity with girls all over him everyday. You know it would be very easy to find someone else. And let's not forget that A.J. is a total flirt.
It's been so hard not having A.J. or the other guys around. I've gotten by. Hey it's not like I sit around here and mope 24/7! Give me a break! When A.J. would call me it made me miss him even more. And it would be so hard to hang up. It got harder and harder each time.
Finally I get to see him. Vinessa, Leighann and I have made plans with Kevin and Nick to go and visit them in Britain for a week since they have off. This is supposed to be a surprise for A.J., Howie, and Brian. They know nothing about it. We leave tomorrow morning. In less than 24 hours I get to be in A.J.?s arms again. Unless someone else is in his arms already.
~Chapter 1~
I woke up to the sound of my alarm.
"Why do we have a flight so early?" I said out loud. It was 2:00 a.m. Vinessa came rushing into my room.
"Brenda you're awake right?" she said.
"Yeah why?"
"Cause your alarm has been going off for awhile. Turn it Off. Get up, get dressed, let's go. Leigh is going to be here in 20 minutes." she rushed back out the door closing it behind here.
I turned off my alarm. ~That girl is way over excited.~ I thought.
All of our things were packed in Vinessa's car so all we had to do is just get ready and leave. I wasn't excited. I was more worried. Worried of A.J.'s reaction to seeing me again. Worried that he found someone else.
~Wait a minute.~ I thought. ~A.J. loves me. I know he does. He wouldn't hurt me like that.~
"Brenda! Come on get up!" Vinessa yelled.
"Yeah I am!" I yelled back. I was starting to feel a lot better.
20 minutes passed and I was all ready to go.
"Finally you're finished! I've been up for 2 hours doing nothing! Just sitting here staring at the clock. Well other than driving myself crazy! Is Leigh gonna be here any time soon? How long is the flight and when do we take off? I forgot." Vinessa said in one breath. I wonder how much coffee she had. Ok I'm never gonna let her have anything that has any caffeine in it again.
"Leigh should be here real soon. The flight leaves at 4:00 and it's 10 hours. And will you calm down before I smack you?"
Before she could say anything else (thank god) someone knocked on the door.
"That would be Leighann." I said and walked over to the door and let her in.
"Hey Leigh. Come on in."
"Hey are you excited to see A.J.? What a stupid question. I know you are." She said.
"Yeah of course I am. I'm excited to see all of them. I miss them so much." I said.
Vinessa ran around shutting off all the lights pushed us out of the door and locked it.
"Let's go, let's go, let's go!!!!!"
"Vinessa calm down we have time." Leighann said. "How much caffeine have you had this morning?"
"A lot." she replied.
We transferred Leighann's bags from her car to Vinessa's and headed for the airport.
After we checked in our luggage and did everything we needed to do, we got to the gate just as people were starting to board.
"See good thing I was rushing you guys." Vinessa said.
"Oh shut up." I said.
We got onto the plane and settles in. It was a big plane. But I was lucky enough to get a window seat.
"I can't wait to see Brian." Leighann said.
"I know." I said.
We took off about 10 minutes later.
"Well we get to sit here for a long time. Fun huh?" I said.
"Oh yes very." Vinessa replied.
"Well I think I am going to sleep. I'm really tired" I said
They both decided to do the same and we fell asleep thinking of the guys.
~Chapter 2~
"So who are we supposed to be meeting here again?" Brian asked as him and the other 4 guys got to the gate at the airport.
"2 of my cousins." Nick answered.
"Oh ok."
"Oh no." A.J. mumbled.
"What?" Howie asked.
"It's Karen. Won't she ever leave me alone? She just can't take a hint. We broke up like a year ago and she still acts like we are still dating."
"I'm glad I'm not in your place right now Bone." Nick said.
"Oh shut up."
"Hi A.J." Karen said kissing him on the cheek.
"Karen please don't do that. We are not dating. I have a girlfriend. Get a clue and leave me alone." He said getting a little angry.
"Oh stop playing. I know you love me." she said.
~What an idiot~ he thought. "Come on Karen we have to talk."
"Ok." and they both started walking away.
"I'll be right back." he said to the other guys.
"How long 'till they land?" Nick said to Kevin.
"5 minutes.....I hope Brenda doesn"t see A.J. with Karen. She might get the wrong idea."
"I doubt it. A.J. isn't very nice to her. I'm sure Brenda wouldn't think that."
They all sat down to wait for the plane to land.

"Brenda wake up the plain is gonna land." Leighann said.
"Oh but I finally got to sleep." I groaned. "I only slept 3 hours."
"Yeah well you can sleep more later."
"Yeah yeah."
The plane finally landed and we walked into the building.
"Hey there they are." Vinessa said
"Oh my god!" Brian and Howie said at the same time.
"Surprise." Kevin said. "They're going to be here for a week."
As we walked over to the guys I was looking for A.J. but he wasn't there. While Leigh
and Brian, Vinessa and Howie were hugging and kissing I went over to Kevin and Nick.
"Hey.....Where's A.J.?"
"Ummm....He'll be right back." Nick said.
"Well I think it is going to be awhile before he gets back so how about we got your things and we'll meet you back at the hotel." Kevin said. He gave me the hotel's name and address.
"Ok I'll see you guys later then." I said.
They all walked away leaving me alone. I saw A.J. talking to some girl. I smiled and started walking towards him.
~Probably a fan~ I thought. Man was I wrong. I got about 20 feet away from them when I saw them kiss each other. I just stood there, not believing what I was seeing.
"Can I help you?" The girl asked when they stopped.
"I........." I started.
"Oh my god! Brenda! This isn't what it looks like!"
"Oh yeah it never is." I choked out.
I was right. He did find someone else.
~Chapter 3~
"Brenda please let me explain." A.J. begged.
I walked over to him. "No A.J. you don't have to explain anything. I know what I saw. How could I have been so blind? I should have known since you haven't talked to me in a month!" I took the ring that he had given me and put it into his hands. "Good bye A.J." I turned around and walked away. A.J. came after me.
"Brenda please if you would just let me explain..."
"Don't A.J. Just go back to who even she is. I'm sure you two will be very happy
together." I started to walk faster. A.J. had stopped walking. I kept walking not looking back. Just leaving him stand there.
~I knew this was gonna happen! I just knew it!~
The tears streamed down my face. People were staring at me but I didn't care.
~I knew this was a bad idea.~
I made my way outside and got into a cab.

"Who was that?" Karen asked as she walked over to A.J. He had been standing there for awhile now.
"That was my girlfriend." he said turning to face her. "Thank you very much for ruining my life." He started walking away.
"Call me!" She called out.
A.J. stopped and looked at her. "Are you really that dense? How many times do I have to
tell you this. There is nothing between the two of us. I want nothing to do with you. Leave me alone! Now I am going to go and try to fix something that you messed up!" he walked away and didn't look back. He couldn't tell if she actually understood what he was trying to tell her. But he didn't care.
~Why did I go out with her in the first place?~ he thought.
A.J. walked outside got into a cab and headed to the hotel.

I walked into the hotel and went to the front desk to get the key to my room.
"Hi......I need the key to my room......room 408." I said.
"Oh yes......here you are." So the man behind the desk as he gave me the key. "Miss I hope you don't mind me asking but, are you all right?"
"Uh...yeah I'm fine." I turned around and walked to the elevators just as Brian stepped out.
"Hey Brenda where's A.J.? Whoa. Are you ok? What's wrong?" He said.
"Nothing." I said walking towards the entrance.
"Oh don't give me that Brenda!" He said catching up with me.
"Really Rok......I'm fine." I said forcing a smile.
"I don't buy that."
"You don't have to." I started walking to the entrance again.
"Hey where ya goin'?" He asked.
"I need some air. I just want to be alone." I walked outside leaving him stand there. I walked into a nearby park and sat down on a bench.
~Why? How could he have done this to me? I loved him so much. Was this a game to him? What does that tramp have that I don't have anyway?~
I went to over this so many times in my head. I don't know how long I had been sitting there. But all I knew is that I didn't want to go back to the hotel.
Chapter 4
A.J. walked into the hotel and got into an elevator. When he got up to the floor where everyone was staying, he saw Brian going into his room.
"Hey Rok wait up."
"Hey Bone.....what's with Brenda? Is she ok?"
"Oh good you saw her.....Is she still here?"
"No......Why what's wrong?"
"Damn." A.J. said more to himself than to Brian.
"What's wrong?" Brian said again.
"Karen kissed me and Brenda saw and she didn't give me enough time to explain."
"Hey A.J." Leighann said as she walked out of Brian's room.
"Hey...are all of you here?"
"Yeah this was a surprise." Leighann said.
"Some surprise. That explains why she's here......Rok do you know where she could have gone?"
"Well she couldn't have gone too far. She doesn't know the area. Hey maybe she's in that little park down the street."
"Thanks." A.J. went to the elevators headed towards the park.

It had started to get cold and I left my jacket with Leighann. I didn't really notice. All I thought about was A.J. kissing that tramp.
"Can we talk?" Came a familiar voice.
"No A.J. I don't want to talk to you."
"Will you at least listen to me?"
"No." I started to walk away.
"Brenda please just listen...."
"No A.J.! You listen! You broke my heart! I saw you kissing another woman! Do you know how much that hurts? You do not deserve to explain anything to me. I shouldn't have gotten back together with you before you left. See? I knew it would have been better!!!!!" I yelled. I turned around an ran to the hotel. I didn't want him coming after me.
When I got up to the 4th floor of the hotel Kevin was standing outside Howie's door talking to him. I tried to get passed him without him stopping me but was unsuccessful.
"Brenda have you talked to A.J.?" Kevin asked.
"Yeah but I really don't want to talk about it right now." I started to walk again but was stopped.
"Brenda you didn't let him explain did you." Howie said.
I walked over to him. "Why should I even let him?" I asked.
"Because it really wasn't his falt. That was Karen....A real air head. He broke up with her about a year ago but she still thinks they are still dating. He tells her every time he sees her that it's over but he can't get it through to her."
I really felt stupid. "Is he telling the truth?" I asked Kevin.
"Yeah he is." A.J. answered for him.
I turned around and looked at him. I looked at Kevin again and he nodded his head.
"Now can we talk?" A.J. asked.
"Yeah." We walked into our room.
"Ok. They told you everything that I wanted to say. So I have nothing else to say. Now if you don't......" I interrupted him with a long kiss.
"Ok I guess you do believe me." He said.
"Do you know how long I have been waiting to do that? So she doesn't meen anything to
you?" I asked.
"Nothing at all."
"OK then can I have my ring back?"
A.J. smiled and took it out of his pocket and put it back onto my finger.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you too."
He leaned down and kissed me. I pulled away and hugged him. It felt so good to be in his arms again. You can not imagine how glad I was for being so wrong.
