~Chapter 1~
"I just want to go home." Sammy said as her and I walked into a small room. We were in the hospital talking to the police about what happened when Hannah attacked us only 5 hours before.
"Why are we still here?" I asked.
"Because I have some news for you." a police officer said as he joined us.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Someone is still alive."
"Who?" Sammy asked.
"Emily Simons. She has a concussion She lost a lot of blood. They're going to keep her
here for awhile."
I couldn't believe Emily was alive. I could have sworn that Hannah killed her.
"And Hannah?" I said.
"She's alive." he replied.
"What? What's going to happen to her?" asked Sammy.
"From what I heard she's going to be in the hospital for a long time. She got hit in the head pretty hard."
"Well what's going to happen to her after she gets out of here?" I asked.
"That's for the judge to decide. I'm sure she will be put away for a long time. You're free to go. Emily is in room 606 I believe."
Sammy and I thanked him, left the room and headed toward Emily's room.
"This isn't how I'm supposed to act." I said.
"What do you mean?" Sammy asked.
"I should be sad that almost everyone's dead and happy that Emily isn't but I just don't feel anything. I feel so drained."
"A lot has happened. I feel the same way."
I stopped walking after we past Kevin's room.
"What." Sammy said.
"I want to tell Kevin that Emily is alive before we go see her."
I turned around and walked into his room. Kevin was laying in his bed asleep and AJ was sitting next to him in a chair watching some TV. He looked really bored.
"Hey how is he?" I asked referring to Kevin.
"He's fine. He's just been sleeping a lot."
Kevin had to go into surgery to get a bullet out of his stomach AJ has been staying with him. Sammy and I haven't gotten to see him yet because we were the ones that had to talk to the police. We are so lucky.
"Kevin." I said shaking him. "Kevin."
"Hmm." He groaned.
"Hey wake up. I have something important to tell you."
Kevin finally opened his eyes and looked up at me. I smiled.
"What is it?" he said with a yawn.
"It's about Emily." I answered. He got a really sad look on his face. I didn't want to make him feel that bad. I wasn't supposed to be anyway. What I was about to tell him would really make him happy. I probably should have stared off differently.
"What about her?" he asked.
I looked up at AJ and he too was waiting for what I had to say. I took a deep breath.
"Emily's alive."
~Chapter 2~
"What?" Kevin said very shocked. "She's alive?"
"Yeah. She's down the hall. We haven't talked to her yet." Sammy said. A tear rolled down his cheek He was so happy to hear that she was alive. I knew that he loved her a lot.
"Well I'm going to go see how she is." I said. "Do any of you need anything while I'm
gone?"
"No." Kevin said. "I'm fine."
"Ok. I'll talk to you later then."
Sammy and I headed to the door. AJ stood up and followed us.
"Room 606." Sammy said pointing to the room. We walked in and say Emily laying in her bed sleeping. I couldn't believe she was actually alive.
"Em." Sammy said shaking her. She opened her eyes. A faint smile appeared on her face.
"Hey guys." she said.
"Hey how are you feeling?" I asked.
"Alive. It's that easy to kill me now is it? Actually my head hurts really bad." She paused. "So.....what happened? To Hannah I mean. And everyone else?"
I looked at AJ. His eyes were on the floor.
"Well.....How do I say this?"
"Just tell me who is still breathing." she urged.
"Well......Us and Kevin." AJ said.
She closed her eyes for a few minutes. When she opened them I saw that there was a lot of pain in her eyes.
"How could she do this to us?" she asked.
"I don't know Em." Sammy answered. "I just don't know."
*Two hours later*
AJ and I decided to go back to Kevin's room to talk to him for awhile. When we walked out of Emily's room and into the hall. Then out of no where he turned and hugged me. He hugged me tight and wouldn't let go. Not that I really minded.
"I can't believe this happened." he said.
"We can't think about that right now." I said while in his arms. "We have to think about
Emily and Kevin. And going home."
How could Hannah do this? She was such a smart person. A really good friend to me. How could she just snap like that? What would actually drive her to go and kill all of our friends? I know on thing, I never want to see her or even hear her name ever again. She killed my friends along with my best friend. She won't get to the rest of them. Not if I can help it.
~Chapter 3~
*1 year later, Orlando FL*
The crowed went wild as AJ and Kevin stepped out on stage. It's been a year since they've been in the public eye. They weren't sure anyone would even go to the benefit concert that they were doing. But to their surprise the place was sold out. Emily, Sammy
and I watched them from back stage.
"It's so cool that so many people showed up." Emily said look at the crowed.
The concert went very well. They left the stage with the crowed of screaming girls wanting more. Everyone started chanting, "Kevin!" and "AJ!" after they were out of site. I gave AJ a big hug saying,
"Great show."
"Thanks." he replied. "It was so much fun. I forgot how much fun it is to be up on stage."
"I'm so happy people still like us." Kevin said.
"Yeah me too." AJ agreed.
"Let's go out and celebrate" Sammy suggested.
"Ok but we should wait for the crowed to die down." Kevin said.

Finally a new beginning for Kevin and AJ. I was so happy for them. I really thought that they could make it big together. Well I hoped. It's been hard on the guys to lose their 3 best friends. It's been hard on me too. Nick is....was....my best friend. The funerals were packed. It was so heart breaking. The guys were buried side by side. I know that sounds weird but they were all so close and on a separate tombstone is says The Backstreet Boys. We all went to Brianna's funeral but we didn't go to Julia's. No one would tell us when and where is was. And still to this day I can't figure out why.

We all wondered out of the building and got into my yellow mustang
"Where to?" I asked.
"Let's go to a club. I feel like dancing." said AJ.
"You always feel like dancing." Sammy said.
"I'm hungry. Why don't we go get something to eat." Emily suggested.
"Where?" I asked.
Emily thought for a minute. "That restaurant that's but your place." she answered.
"I drove out of the parking lot and headed for the restaurant
~Chapter 4~
The five of us walked in the restaurant and sat down towards the back. We ordered out dinner and talked for awhile.
"Tomorrow's Brian's birthday." I said softly. Everyone's eyes were on the table. "I was just thinking that we could go and put some flowers on his grave. Like we did for Nick on his birthday."
"Yeah I was thinking of doing that too." AJ said.
"Ok so are the rest of you coming with me?" I asked.
"Yeah AJ and I have to go to the studio tomorrow to work on our new album so maybe
we could go before we go to work." said Kevin.
"You're doing an album?" I asked surprised. "You never told me this."
"Well now we did." AJ said. "We were going to tell you tonight."
"Ok so we're going there tomorrow morning right?" Emily asked.
"Yeah I guess so." I answered.
It was 11:00 by the time we were done eating. I took Kevin, Sammy, and Emily home and AJ was the last person.
"You wanna come in for a few minutes?" he asked.
"Yeah sure."
We got out of the car and started walking to the front door. He reached his hand out and took mine and we continued walking. When we reached the door he pulled his keys from his pocket and unlocked it. His dogs greeted us when we walked inside. Right when we
walked inside the phone rang.
"Wait right here. I'll be right back." AJ said. I nodded and he ran up the stairs. I sat down on the couch to wait for him.

"AJ I have to go!" I yelled up the stairs. "It takes 20 minutes to get home from here and I would like to get some sleep!"
"Wait! Just hold on a sec!"
"I know you are going to be on that thing all night! You live on that stupid phone!"
After I finished talking he came running down the stairs.
"Wow you actually got off that thing? That's a first. I'll see you tomorrow ok?"
He kissed me and said, "I'll walk you to your car."
We both walked out the door and to my car. He kissed me again and then I left for my house.
