~Chapter 9~ AJ and I ran upstairs and to the roof of the building.  Right when I got outside I saw Emily with her arms tied behind her back, her ankles tied together and she was gagged  Next to her was Julie.  She was about to push her over the edge. "Julia!"  AJ yelled trying to buy some time. "What!  can't I just kill her in peace?  there's always someone standing there screaming and I find that really annoying.  Julia said all this with her back to us.  She looked so scared.  Finally Julia turned to us and smiled. "Why Halie, AJ, it's so nice of you to join us." "But I thought you were dead.....I mean I saw you....."  I was really confused "Well I had to make you think I was dead."  she said. "But why?"  AJ asked. "Well you don't think Hannah could have killed everyone all by herself now do you?  Well actually she didn't kill everyone because she's an idiot and let you get away!" "Why did you fake it?  It doesn't make any sense  Why..."  I started to say. ""I did that in case someone got away.  So that I would be able to come after you."  she interrupted "Where have you been all this time?  Why didn't you come after us earlier?"  asked AJ. "Well I would have but I was put into a nut house."  When she said this my mouth dropped open.  AJ was trying not to laugh. "Who put you in there?"  he asked with a little smirk. "My parents.  I don't know why.  I'm not crazy.  They just don't listen to me.  Just because I can fly doesn't mean that I'm crazy.  Enough talk!  Stop trying to distract me!"  Julia pushed Emily a little closer to the edge.  I noticed that something was in her right hand.  Then I saw that it was a knife. "I'll distract her more, you go and try to get Emily."  I whispered. "Why are you doing this?"  I asked her.  Julia turned around to face me she looked really annoyed. "I know you really don't want to hear that boring little lecture Hannah gave you before.  It's for that reason and because you put her in prison.  I had to come here and get my revenge.  It's the right thing to do."  While Julia said all this my eyes followed AJ.  He walked around the edge of the building  He ended up behind Julia.  I was afraid she would see him. "AJ you are such an idiot."  Julia said still facing me.  "Did you really think I wouldn't notice you there?"  She turned around fast, caught him off guard and pushed him over the edge. ~Chapter 10~ "Oh my god!  AJ  Julia you're not going to get away with this."  I said. "That's where you're wrong Halie."  she said.  "Hannah was stupid.  I'm too smart to get caught  Now I would like to prove that I'm not crazy.  So we are going to conduct a little experiment.  God downstairs and back out in front of the main doors."  I couldn't trust her.  She would push Emily over the edge while I make my way downstairs.  She glared at me when she saw that I wasn't moving. "Get going or she goes over!"  she yelled. "Well how so I know you're not going to kill her while I'm gone? "Well you won't now will you?!  Go!"  I turned around and went back inside making my way down the stairs.  I ran through the hall on the first floor and heard a voice from behind me and I stopped. "Hey wait up."  AJ said limping up to me.  I looked at him amazed that he was alive.  I ran up to him and hugged him tight.  I almost started crying I was so happy. "I fell on someone's balcony."  he said.  I let go of him and started for the main doors again.  AJ slowly followed behind me. "Hey where are you going?"  he asked me when he got outside. "Well it took you long enough!"  Julia yelled down to us. "What are you going to do?"  I asked. "Gees I could have killed her and gone after you in that matter of time.  But I couldn't because she is part of my little experiment.  And what is he still doing alive?  You know AJ you are really making this harder for me.  Oh well I'll just have to kill you later."  She got a big smile on her face. "What are you going to do?"  I asked again. "I'm going to prove to you that I'm not crazy."  she replied. "You don't have to prove anything we know you're not crazy!"  I said. "Speak for yourself."  AJ mumbled. "Shut up you're not helping."  I snapped. "So you want to know exactly what I'm going to do huh?  You see, I can fly.  Emily here cannot.  To show you Emily can't fly I'm going to push her off and hope that she falls and lands on her head.  Then I'm going to jump and fly to the ground and kill the rest of you."  she answered.  Emily almost went hysterical  She tried to get away but it was kind of hard since her ankles were tied together.  During this whole time she's been trying to get at least one foot free but couldn't. "Oh man she really is nuts."  AJ said to me. "AJ what are we going to do?"  I asked.  "We can't just stand here." "Why don't we try and catch her."  he replied. Before we could say anything else Julia pushed Emily off the building. ~Chapter 11~ AJ and I ran to try and catch Emily.  Well we did break her fall.  Does that count?  She ended up falling on both of us.  I was really in pain.  My arm hurt like hell.  I looked at AJ who was next to me and he was groaning  Emily was ok too. "Damn it damn it damn it!!  I wanted her to die!!!!!!!  Why are you making this so hard for me?! Now I'll show you that I can fly.  Then I'll kill you."  She put her arms all the way out and leaned forward and jumped.  She fell to the ground and I could hear a lot of bones cracking.  It was real sickening.  I was sure she was dead.  I didn't look up to look at her.  I hurt to much to move.  I hear sirens coming closer and closer. "Sure now someone calls for help.  I hate the people around here.  They hear a bunch of screaming and no one calls the police?"  I choked out. "I called."  AJ said. The police called an ambulance and we got some help.  After all of us were fixed up we went and talked to the police.  (I ended up with a broken arm, AJ sprained his rested and got a concussion, Emily just had some cuts and bruises  Doesn't it sound like we should have been hurt more???)  Talking to the police brought back many bad memories of the year before.  Julia did die from the fall.  The police told us that she was really in a mental institution and she broke out.  When the police let us go, one of them gave us a ride back to my place.  They had already been in the back woods where they found Kevin and Sammy.  No luck that time they didn't live.  When AJ, Emily and I got into my place we sat there in silence for awhile. "Well I'm going home."  Emily said and stood up. "Are you sure you're going to be ok?"  I asked.  "You can stay here if you want." "No I'll be fine.  You have to remember that I have a great dane  She's a good attack dog. I'll call you later."  she said and walked out the door. "I have no clue as to how she can just go home.  I don't care how big of a pet I had.  I would not stay home alone."  I said. I got up and sat down next to AJ on the couch and rested my head on his shoulder. "I'm never going to feel safe ever again." "It's over now.  You'll be ok."  he kissed the top of my head. "I hope so." ~*~*~*~*~ Three weeks later I ended up moving in with AJ.  We've never been happier and I've never felt unsafe.  We even got engaged and will be married by the end of the year. We went to Sammy and Kevin's funerals.  I think these two were worse on us than the ones before.  AJ and Emily didn't take it too well.  I was there but my mind wasn't.  I was really upset too.
