*Happily Ever After*

Chapter 1

"Hey Brian."  Nick said as he walked in Brian's house.
"Hey.  Will you grab some of those boxes for me please?  Chelsea brought some of her stuff over here.  She needed to get it out of the way."
For the record, Brian and Chelsea were going to get married that weekend.  And she was going to start moving some of her things in.  Nick picked up some of the boxes and followed Brian to his room.
"Just put them in the closet thanks."  said Brian when they got into his room.  Nick set them in the closet and notices a small door that seemed to have been painted over.
"Hey Brian what's this?"  Nick asked with his head in the closet.
"It's called a closet.  You keep your clothes in it...."
"I know that but it looks like another door or something."
Nick moved aside to let Brian see.
"Try to open it."  Brian said.  Nick pulled on the edges of the door and it finally cracked open.
"After all this time you don't know about this?"  Nick looked up at him.
"How much do I actually stay here?  Besides how would I know?  It's not like I stick my head my all the closets in the house to look for secret doors."
Nick turned his attention back to the door to see what was inside.  He reached his hand in and touched a rectangular object.  He grabbed it and pulled it out."
"Ok you ripped a hole in my wall for a book.  Yeah.  Ok I'm going downstairs now."  Brian said and left the room.
~This can't be any ordinary book.  Why would they keep it locked up?~  Nick thought.  He wiped away the dirt an it to see what the book was called.
"A Book Of Fairy Tales."  he said out loud.  "What could be so bad about a book of fairy tales?"  He opened the book to see if the book was really about fairy tales.

~Chapter 2~

Brian walked down the stairs and back into the living room.
~Why would a book be stuck in a hole in the wall?  What if it has evil powers and we're now entering the Twilight Zone?~  he laughed at the thought.  He decided to go back upstairs to make sure Nick wasn't tearing his closet apart.  On his way up he saw a flash of light come from his room.  Brian ran the rest of the way up stairs to see what had happened.  When he got to his room he saw that Nick was nowhere in sight.  He looked thought the rest of the rooms.  No such luck.  Nick was gone.
"Nick this isn't funny."  Brian said.  "You can come out now."  The room was quiet.  It was just him.  Brian walked across the room kicking the book shut.  He looked sown at it and say down on the floor.  He picked the book up and looked at it.
"Fairy tales."  he said.  He opened the book to a page that had the title Cinderella.  Before he knew it, he wasn't in his own house anymore or even in his own clothes.  He was in the book.
"Tonight's the night dear boy.  You're finally going to find the woman you're going to marry!"  said an old gray haired man.
"Marry?"  Brian asked confused.
"Why yes.  That's why we set up this whole party.  To have every eligible madden in the kingdom to be here tonight.  Don't you remember?  Are you feeling well?"
"Every eligible madden” Brian said to him self.  "No way.  It can't be."
He looked at all the women dancing.  Their clothing looked very familiar
"Will you excuse me?  I'd like to look around."  said Brian.
The man nodded and Brian walked away into the crowd of staring people.
"Nick has to be here.  Where else could he have gone?"  he said to himself.  "Maybe he'll know a way to get us out of here."  He walked up to a girl with blond hair, wearing a long blue dress.
"Excuse me miss.  Have you seen a tall blond man around here at all?"
The girl blushed.  "No.  Sorry."
----------
"Why can't the man ever pick up the phone?  AJ asked Kevin as they walked up to the front door of Brian's house.
"Maybe they're not even here."  said Kevin.
"Well both of their cars are here."  Kevin and the bell and waited for someone to answer.  AJ grew impatient and opened the door.  They searched the house and there still was no sign of Brian or Nick.  AJ walked into Brian's room and found the book on the floor.
"Hey Kevin, Rok has a fairy tale book."  AJ called out.
Kevin joined AJ in the room and looked at the book.
"Looks old."  said Kevin.
"Yeah."
"I'll be right back."
AJ opened the book and flipped through a few pages.
"Sleeping Beauty.  Nice."  Then there was a flash of light and AJ was no longer in his own dimension.
"Kevin?.....Kevin?.....Oh great.  Where am I anyway?"  he said out loud.  He turned around to see a girl, lying on the ground.  He kneeled next to her and shook her.  She didn't wake up.  He checked her pulse and she was still alive.
"I'm in the Twilight Zone.  I got it!  This is unbelievable.  I'm stuck in a fairy tale."
----------
Kevin walked out of the bathroom and back into Brian's room to join AJ once again.  But when he got there AJ was gone and the book was on the floor, open.  He walked over to it and picked it up.
~Sleeping Beauty.~  he thought.  ~Wonderful.~
He leafed through a few more pages and came across Snow White.  Once again there was a flash of light and he was in a forest.

Chapter 3

AJ looked at the girl sleeping so peacefully.  He still had no idea why he was there.
~Should I kiss her?~  he wondered.  ~Hell why not.~  He leaned down and kissed her.  He leaned back and looked at her to see if she would wake up.
----------
"Are you sre you haven't seen him?"  Brian asked still looking around for Nick.
"Yes.  You look troubled.  Are you all right?"  asked the girl.
"No I'm not."  he said under his breath.  "Maybe you can help me.  Come on."  Brian took her hand and led her outside.
"Where are we going?"  she asked.
"Right here.  Away from everybody.  Before I tell you everything, can you please tell me your name?"
"My name?  Cinderella."
----------
"Ok where am I?"  Howie asked himself.  "And why is everything so big?"  he looked at his surroundings.  The trees were three times the size as normal ones.  Everything was huge.  The last thing he remembered was being in Brian’s room looking for him and finding some weird book.  And the next thing he knew, he was this overgrown place.
"Oh no.  I have to be dreaming.  This is all a dream.  I must have hit my head at Brian's or something.  And why am I green!  Ah!!  I'm a frog!"
----------
"Ok this is nice.  Brian, since when do you have a forest in your room?"  he turned around to see if Brian was still there.  Of course he wasn't.  "Oh man.  What is this place?"  All he could see was trees.  Then on a path he saw a girl in a red cape with a basket.  A few feet away he also saw a wolf hiding behind a tree watching her.
"It can't be."  he said.  "No.  Please no.  Brian you're playing a joke on me right.  Please say you hit me over the head with something and I'm dreaming.  At least I'd have some understanding as to what's going on."
He watched the girl walk and doddle around for awhile.  He noticed the wolf wasn't there anymore.  He knew where he was going.  Nick was about to warn the girl when he kicked over an ax.
"Oh look I'm the lumberjack."  he said to himself.  He looked up to see if the girl was still around but she wasn't.  He started walking in the direction that the girl was walking in to try and get to the house.  When he got there, the wolf was there but no red riding hood.  He ran at the wolf and cut open his stomach just like what happened in the story, and out came red and her grandmother.

Chapter 4

Howie was almost hyperventilating.  He hopped onto the edge of a well to get a better look of the area.  Off in the distance he  saw a huge castle that looked like something out of a fairytale.  Then out of nowhere a golden ball flew right past him and into the well he was sitting on.
"Oh where did it go!?"  A girl asked as she was walking around the well.  Howie looked in the well.  He saw a golden ball at the bottom.
~Ok I'm a frog.  I'm on a well, there's a castle, and a gold ball and a princess.  I've got it.  I'm in the Frog Prince.~  Howie was very please with himself.
"Are you looking for your ball?"  he asked the princess.
"Why yes I am."  she answered.
"It's in the well."  he said.  She peeked over the edge and looked at Howie.
"Oh will you please get it for me?  Please?"  the princess pleaded.
"Well, I would but you have to do something for me in return."
"And what would that be?"  she was starting to get impatient.
"After I get the ball you have to kiss me."
"Eww!  Kiss a frog?  No!"  the princess said in disgust.
"Ok then you're not going to get your ball then."  Howie said simply.
She thought for a moment.
"Well, all right."
Howie then jumped in the well and swam to the bottom.  He pushed the heavy ball up the surface and to the edge of the well.  The princess did what she agreed to and kissed Howie.  Nothing happened.
"Why am I not changing?"  Howie asked.
"I don't know but can I have my ball back now please?"  the princess asked holding out her hand.
Then, finally Howie turned back to his normal self.
"Well that took a long time."  said Howie.
The princess looked at Howie shocked.
"Why, you have turned into an....elf!"
"I'm not an elf!  I'm not a troll!  I'm human!  Now you've got to help me."
----------
"Cinderella."  Brian repeated.  "Oh no."
"What's wrong?  You look very unhappy.  Is there something I can do?"  asked Cinderella.
"I don't know I think you can help me.  But when the clock strikes twelve, promise me you won't leave.  I know what happens and it's important you don't leave."
