*Later that night*
~Maybe I should be careful.~ Olivia thought to herself as she walked up to the house. She opened the door but didn't walk in. All she saw was a shower of confetti.
"Nice try Jamie." Olivia said. She saw that there was a note on the kitchen counter.
~This can't be a trap can it.~ She thought again. ~No, Jamie isn't that smart.~ So she kept walking towards the kitchen. Before she could get to the counter she tripped on something.
"What the?!" All of a sudden a bucket full of chocolate pudding fell from the ceiling.
"AHHHH! You did NOT just do that!" She shouted.
"Actually I did." Came Jamie's voice from upstairs. Jamie walked down to see what exactly she did. "Well, what happened to you?"
"Shut up. That was disgusting."
"Well, sorry, I had to get away from Jell-O." Jamie said walking to the other side of the kitchen.
"You suck. What are you doing?"
"Just getting something to remember this by." She pulled out a video camera that was recording.
"Damn girl you're lucky we didn't get any of this on the carpet." She got up on her knees
and whipped some of the pudding off of her head. "Look I'm a big dessert!!! I'm sweet."
"You're taking it pretty lightly." Jamie said with the camera still in her hand.
"Considering that I'm taping you."
"Yeah well we both got each other pretty bad. I say we're pretty even. Truce?" Olivia held out her pudding covered hand.
"Yeah truce. I ain't shakin' your hand right now."
"Get me a towel will ya?"
Jamie got a towel from off the counter and handed it to Olivia. She whipped her hands and extended out her right to shake hands with Jamie.
"All right truce." Jamie said shaking her hand.
"Can I trust you on that?" Olivia asked eyeing her friend.
"Yeah I should be the one asking you. Say it Liv. That's the only way I know you mean it."
"Ok I swear oh great Jamie that I won't pull anything."
"Thank you. And I swear I won't pull anything either. On you."
Olivia got up and whipped her face with the towel.
"What do you mean by that Jamie? Do you have something up your sleeve? Since when did you get into oh mighty prank queen again? You haven't been like this since we were in high school."
"I don't know. But it's fun. No I don't have anything up my sleeve. But you never know."
"Are you going to put the camera down now?"
"Yeah I suppose." Jamie turned off the camera and set it down away from all the mess on the floor. AJ knocked and opened the door. He started laughing when he saw Olivia covered.
"Yeah yeah keep laughing. Look I'm your sweet girlfriend. Hungry?"
"You look wonderful Liv. So Jamie did you have a nice morning?"
"Yeah thanks. My hair smells so fruity I just love it."
"Well I'm going to wash up." She was about to leave the kitchen and stopped. "Wait how am I supposed to get up there? I don't want to track pudding upstairs."
"You can strip down." AJ suggested with a big smile on his face.
"Oh what an idea. No."
"If you're going that way, he might as well just lick it all off." Jamie added.
"Again, how about no."
"That's not a bad idea." AJ said.
"Carry her up the stairs." Jamie said.
"Ok, Liv, jump." She got on his back and they went upstairs.
"Wait, stay right there." Jamie said, she got her video camera, "Awe, look how cute they are."
"Turn it off Jamie." Olivia said as AJ continued to walk.
"Oh, all right."
~Chapter 38~
*1 Month Later*
"I'll see you then. Ok, bye." Was all I heard of Jamie's conversation when she walked in the door. Life was going pretty well for them, the weeks came and went, so did exams. But finally it was Olivia's and Kevin's birthday.
"Hello." Olivia said.
"Oh hey."
"So who was that?"
"Oh, just Katie, I'm taking one of her shifts next week."
"Ah, fun."
"Yeah, so what do you want for your birthday? I mean you have all the things you've asked for in the past. Your truck, Xena and AJ."
"Cutting it a little close are we. I mean tomorrow is my birthday. Well, hum, I don't know. You're smart, think of something."
"Thanks. Shoot, I was supposed to be at Kev's 10 minutes ago. I'll see you later."
*Later that night*
"So what do you want to do tomorrow?" Jamie asked Kevin.
"Nothing." He said putting her arms around her, "I just want to be with the woman I love." He pulled her close and kissed her.
"That's so sweet, yet so lame."
"The label all ready threw me a party, and all I want to do is be with you."
"All right, if that's what you really want." They left Kevin's and headed over to Jamie's.
"Hello." Jamie said opening the door.
"Hey." AJ and Olivia said.
"So, Liv, what's Bone doing for ya?" Kevin asked.
"Taking me out, I think. He never told me." She answered.
"Ok, it's only 5:30, what do you guys say we go rent some movies and have it be the 4 of us tonight." AJ said.
"Sounds good." Jamie said.
"Sure." Kevin said. So they left for Blockbuster.
"Ok, it's going pretty good so far." AJ said to Jamie while look at movies.
"Yeah, let's just hope that everything's Ok back at the house." She muttered.
"It should, the fellas should have it under control."
"True, it's going to do so much fun. You might think me and Liv are nuts now, wait till we're with our friends."
"And what are you two up to?" Kevin said coming up behind two.
"We're just talking about the movie." AJ said pointing to a box.
"Oh, You've Got Mail, that's a winner." Olivia said rolling her eyes. They go a couple movies and left.
"How much of these videos do you think we will be actually watching?" Olivia asked.
"Not much." AJ answered. Jamie pulled into the driveway and sighed.
"Why the sigh?" Kevin asked.
"No reason." They got out and walked to the house. Olivia and Kevin's faces were price less after Jamie opened the door. AJ and Jamie got Kevin's and Olivia's friends from high school.
"You guys are the best." Olivia said giving AJ a kiss. Kevin did the same for Jamie.
"We know. Now enough with standing here with us, go say hi." Jamie said pushing them towards the people.
"Oh my god. I can't believe you guys are here I've missed you so much!" Olivia said excidedly. She gave three girls a hug. She noticed AJ was standing behind her. "Oh AJ this is Lindsay, Stephanie and Ashley. You've met Stephanie and Ashley already. This is my boyfriend AJ." AJ said hi and went and talked to some other people that were there.
"I can't believe he's your boyfriend Liv. You sure can pick them huh?" Lindsay said. "How did you meet him anyway?"
"It was pretty much an accident." she answered. "If you'll excuse me I'm
going to go say hi to some more people."
~Chapter 39~
"Jamie who is that guy Olivia is hugging?" AJ asked while still looking at the guy with his arms around Olivia.
"Oh that's Jim. Our little Jimmy. We grew up with him. Olivia's had a crush on him for the longest time. Oops I don't think I was supposed to say that." Jamie walked away before she dug the hole she was in any deeper.
AJ walked over to the two that were talking and slipped his arm around her.
"Hi." AJ said and kissed her cheek.
"Uh hi." Olivia said.
"Hi I'm AJ, Liv's boyfriend."
"Hi I'm Jim." The two shook hands.
"It's so good to see you. How have you been?" Olivia asked Jim trying to ignore the fact that AJ was still there and acting like an idiot.
"I've been great. I was engaged but we broke up. You know her from school, remember Cindy?"
"Oh, yeah how could you forget her?" Olivia said trying not to make it too obvious that she hated Cindy. She was a stupid slutty girl she hated only since the day she met her.
After about ten minutes they parted and Olivia went on to catch up with other people she hadn't seen for a long time.
A few hours passed while everyone talked and caught up with each other.
"So what now?" Kevin asked Olivia.
"Well, I was thinking we could play a little game." She said.
"What?" She whispered it to him. "Sounds like fun."

"People come over here." Kevin said. Everyone did. "Were going to play a little game."
"What kind of game?" AJ asked.
"Spin the bottle." Olivia said holding an empty beer bottle.
"Remind me how old we are." Ashley said.
"Hey, it's my twenty-second birthday, let me have my fun." They all go into a circle.
"Kev, you want to do the honors?" Olivia asked.
"No, you go ahead." She spun and landed on Jim. They kissed and Jim spun. Amazingly, he got Olivia. They kissed again.
"Those two are a little too friendly for me." AJ muttered to Jamie.
"Calm down, he was just a little schoolgirl crush."
"OK, but if she lands on him again, someone's going to die." Olivia spun again and landed on Jim. Before they got to kiss Jamie commented, "Hey, the rest of us want to get some too." So the two of them stopped.
"Here Kev, you go." Olivia gave him the bottle. He spun and landed on Jamie.
"Now this is what I'm talking about." She said. They kissed but took a little too long to break apart.
Olivia coughed loudly and they broke apart.
"Ok you guys there's time for that later." AJ said.
"Well that was a fun game but that's enough." Olivia said. Everyone agreed and spread to go back to talking with other people.
"So how's my birthday girl?" AJ asked wrapping his arms around Olivia.
"Great. Thank you so much for doing this for me and Kevin."
"No problem."
At around 1:00 people were pretty much passed out on the floor. They had maybe one too many drinks. The next day Olivia went to the airport to see her friends off. They all wanted to stay longer but couldn't because of school or work. She was so happy to see them it really was the best birthday she had ever had.
~Chapter 40~
*December*
"I don't think I'm ever going to get any sleep." Olivia said as she plopped down on the couch with a pile of books in hand. It was 10:00 on Wednesday and the girls were studying for finals that started on Monday. They made a vow that they would study all week since they had put most of it off. Well Olivia did more than Jamie.
"I have almost everything down. It doesn't matter once I start the test I'll draw a complete blank." said Jamie who had all her stuff laying all over the coffee table.
"Yeah the same with me. I don't think I'll ever be able to learn the stuff for my classes. I'm a visual learner you know. I don't do well on tests."
Kevin then walked in the door and sat down next to Jamie and gave her a kiss.
"Hey how are you?" he asked.
"Oh just wonderful but I really need to study for finals and you are really going to be a distraction. So how bout I see you on Wednesday?"
"Yes how about that cause now both of you are distracting me." Olivia commented.
Then as if on cue AJ walked in the door.
"Hey guys." he said and gave Olivia a kiss.
"I am never going to pass." Olivia said. "Not with all this."
"Pass what?" AJ asked looking at Kevin for a little help.
"We have finals on Monday. Meaning we need to study. And you guys really can't be here." said Olivia.
"So we'll see you on Wednesday when we're all done." Jamie added.
"Yes so if you love us you'll go far away and not come back for a week." She stood up and guided that guys to the door.
"Well that's a nice way to put it." AJ said.
"I'm sorry hun you really think I wanna sit here and study?"
Then again someone knocked on the door. Jamie opened it and there was Brian.
"Why must you people come here when we actually have things to do and not when we have nothing to do?! It's a conspiracy I tell you all!" Olivia said.
"Ok I guess that means that it was a bad time to come." Brian said. Jamie and Olivia pushed the guys out the door.
"Ok bye don't come back till next week." Jamie said. She closed the door and then locked it to make sure that they wouldn't walk in at anytime and interrupt them. Like that was really going to stop them.
*Saturday*
Olivia and Jamie have been in the same positions for the last 4 days. Olivia claimed the living room as her ground while Jamie had the kitchen. The phone rang, and Jamie tried to pick it up.
"Don't even think about it." Olivia said glaring at her.
"But what if it's Kevin, 4 days is a really long time and I want to talk to him." Jamie answered pathetically.
"Just think, after Wednesday you can spend 3 weeks straight with him." The phone rang 3 more times before the answering machine picked up.
"Hey, it's Jamie and Olivia. Either were not in or we're studying for finals. If it's
something important you need to tell us, leave a message. If you happen to be AJ or Kevin, stop calling. We really need to study. That is all."
"That message is so lame." Olivia said.
"I know, but we needed something." Jamie said.
"Jamie, it's me." Kevin said, "I thought I could get you to pick up, oh well, I'll just try tomorrow."
"I knew it was him." Jamie said.
