~Chapter 65~ *The Big Day* "Where are they? They were supposed to be here a half an hour ago." Jamie said pacing around the house. "Jamie, come here,” Her mom said taking her hands, "The flowers will be here ok. And if they don't, we'll figure something out. Now what you have to do right now is calm down, so we can get you dressed." "Ok, I think I can do that." "Jamie, look what I found." Mrs. Richardson said holding the flowers. "Where were they?" Jamie asked. "Outside the door. The doorbell must have stopped working again." 15 minutes later, Jarold showed up at the house. "Jamie, you look beautiful." He said. "Thank you. You don't look so bad yourself." She answered. "And what do you think you are doing here?" Olivia asked giving him a hug. "Getting my socks. I forgot them." Jarold found his socks and left. So did everyone else after him. "Wait, why did we stop?" Jamie asked as they were on their way to the church. "I have no idea, but I'll find out." Olivia got out of the car, talked to the limo driver, and came back. "So, what happened?" Jamie's mom asked. "The limo broke down, but the driver's working on it." Olivia said. "This is horrible." Said Jamie, as she was about to cry. "No it isn't honey," Mrs. Richardson said. "The driver will fix it. And it's not like the ceremony can start with out you." The limo was fixed within 10 minutes and they made it to the church on time. ~Chapter 66~ *At the Church* "You nervous man?" AJ asked. "A little, I'm just excited to see her in that dress." Kevin said. "She looks amazing." Jarold said. "How do you know?" Kevin asked. "I had to stop by the house to get my socks." "Oh." The music started and the doors opened, and the bridesmaids started to walk in. When Jamie walked through the doors, Kevin was in awe. Jamie has never looked so beautiful, he even started crying a little. The whole wedding went smooth and it was now it was time to do a little partying. There was a live band and everything. Jamie saw Olivia go up and talk one of the guitarists who shook his head after she was done talking to him. She had a big smile while she walked off the stage. She kept watching her while she made her way back to AJ who had been stuck to her side the whole night. She was beginning to wonder if they would ever be able to part for a whole day. They would have to in month anyway because the guys were going on yet another tour. She didn’t even want to think about that. When the band was finished with their song Olivia ran back up on stage and she had the rest of the bride’s maids behind her. The lead singer stepped back to let her get to the microphone and began to talk. “Ok I’d just like to make yet another little speech before we get on with the party. You know it wasn’t that long ago when I got married….it’s really nice being the bride….yeah well anyway that’s not even the subject. Well since it’s my best friend’s day I thought I would try and make it a little bit better. My lovely friends and I, along with some mothers who will not be named, Mrs. Richardson, and Mrs. Newman, have been working on something so I hope you like it.” She stepped back from the mic and some of the guys from the band brought in a large white screen. “Oh great.” Jamie said to Kevin, “Our mothers had something to do with it. How bad do you think it is?” “As long as they aren’t baby pictures I’ll be ok.” He said. They both looked at each other and then at the screen and they figured it out before they saw it. It ended up being a bunch of pictures of them as kids and then as they got older and the last pictures were of them together. There were a bunch of awes all over the crowd and Jamie couldn’t believe that they made all this. It wasn’t as bad as she thought it would be. It was actually pretty cool. It kind of looked like one of those movies that you’d put together at a high school graduation of old photos. "That was so sweet of you." Jamie said to Olivia while drying her eyes. Everyone partied for a few more hours, and then started heading to their rooms. The only people still there at 2 a.m. were the bridal party. "Well, looks like this party's over." AJ said while they were all sitting around. "This one might be, but ours hasn't started yet." Kevin said winking at Jamie. "I'm going to head up stairs." Brian said. "Congratulations you two." He gave Kevin and Jamie a hug, and left. "I'm going to go too." Katrina said. Everyone else followed, except for Jamie, Kevin, Olivia and AJ. "Well, go to let the two of you have your fun." AJ said. "Have fun in Italy. I'll miss you." Olivia said giving both of them a hug. "Well, are you ready to go Mrs. Richardson?" Kevin said picking Jamie up. "I love the sound of that name, Jamie Marie Richardson." She said giving him a kiss. ~Chapter 67~ *2 weeks later* "So how was Italy?" Olivia asked Jamie the day after they got back. "It was beautiful. I've never been any place like it." She answered. "Look at them, it's like they haven't talked in years." AJ said to Kevin while they were watching Jamie and Olivia. "Well, how are they going to feel when we separate them for a few more days? We might want to have some alone time with them before we go back on tour." Kevin said. "True." AJ said. They go up and joined the girls. "So what are you talking about?" AJ asked. "Their honeymoon." Olivia answered. "Do you know what I just realized?" Jamie said. "I have to stay in this huge house all by myself for 3 months. I could hardly stand our old place, but this. I'm going to end up in the loony bin." "Well, I'll see you there." Olivia said. "What about us?" Kevin asked. "Alone in some hotel room miles away from our wives." "I have an idea,” Olivia said, "don't go." "You know we would love to but, we have to." AJ said. They all talked for awhile until Olivia and AJ left. "How am I going to survive 3 months without seeing you? I mean we've only been married 2 weeks." Jamie said while in Kevin's arms. "I don't know, but we're have to make it some how." Kevin said. For the next two weeks, AJ and Olivia were inseparable along with Kevin and Jamie. But sadly, it was the day for the guys to leave. “When do you leave again?” Olivia asked while walking into the living room. “8:30 tonight.” He answered. “You know I woke up last night and I got lost trying to find the stupid bathroom. I still keep thinking I’m at my old place. I ended up in the closet and I couldn’t get out.” AJ started laughing and got off the couch to give her a hug. “Baby I don’t know how you still manage to do that.” “Hey it was really early I wasn’t fully awake and I do odd things when I’m no awake.” She said while still in his arms. “I’m going to miss you.” He said softly. “I’m going to miss your getting lost stories and you setting off the alarm on the house and everything else you do.” He started to laugh and so did Olivia. “Hey.” She said defending herself. “I’m not used to those things ok. You set it off and not know how to turn it off.” He let out a sigh. “What am I going to do without my wife?” Olivia smiled at the word wife. It was something that she was just starting to get used to. “Hey it’s not your husband that’s leaving you home while he goes off to different countries with girls throwing themselves at you.” “No…….but I think there would be more of a problem if I did have a husband.” Olivia lightly slapped in on the shoulder. “You know what I mean.” “You know what. I like us standing like this why don’t we just stand here all day?” he suggested. “Because Kevin and Jamie are coming over later…well Jamie said she was coming but I’m sure Kevin will be with her.” “That doesn’t matter I’m not going to let you go.” He said taking her hand. ~Chapter 68~ “Morning.” Jamie said as she walked into the living room where Kevin was laying on the couch watching MTV. “Hey.” He said moving so she could sit down. “What are your plans for today?” she asked. “Anything as long as it’s with you.” “Good cause we are going over to Olivia and AJ’s.” “That’s fine.” They sat and watched tv for about ten minutes without saying anything until Jamie started talking. “You know I haven’t seen my dog in days I think she’s lost somewhere. This house is huge and she is tiny. Come on let’s go look for her.” They spent about a half hour and found her laying on their bed, which was the last place they looked. “There you are.” Jamie said picker her up. Noon soon rolled around and they went over to AJ and Olivia’s place and hung out there by the pool all day as they usually did on their weekends. Kevin and AJ were off in the pool as usual chatting about guy stuff as usual. They were laughing about something and Jamie and Olivia exchanged looks. “Now what on earth do you think they’re talking about?” Jamie asked, while watching them laugh so hard they were almost turning purple. “You know what? I don’t think we even want to know.” She answered. “You’re probably right.” By 6:00 Kevin and Jamie left again so that Kevin could pack. They just agreed that AJ and Olivia would pick the two up and Olivia would take Jamie home. AJ was almost finished packing when Olivia started throwing some of her shirts in his direction. “Hey….What are you doing?” he asked. “Woops am I hitting you?” “Well…yeah.” “Sorry.” She grabbed a few more clothes and picked up the ones that were on the floor and put them on the bed. “And what are you doing?” “Oh. I forgot to tell you.” She said while putting them in a duffel bag. “Since you’re going to be gone me and Jamie thought it was pointless for both of us to stay in a huge house like this by ourselves since we could hardly handle it in our old place so we’re switching off houses. I’m going to stay there for a month and then she’s going to stay here for a month.” “You guys can’t spend any time alone can you?” he said with a smile. “Nope. I guess you’re just going to have to deal with it.” She joked. “Be glad that It’s not a guy that’s my best friend. I don’t think you’d be too happy about leaving.” “Yeah. You know me well my dear.” ~Chapter 69~ “Ok now don’t go too crazy while I’m gone.” Kevin said after he was done packing. “Well I won’t cause Liv’s going to stay here for a month and then I’m going there or something like that. It’s the only way to keep us sane.” “Well whatever floats your boat.” He laughed. “Hey it’s better than living in this huge house by myself.” “I do it all the time. Well I did anyway.” The doorbell rang and Jamie ran to get the door. It was Olivia who was at the door to get Kevin and Jamie. AJ was waiting in the car. “What we’re not good enough for him to come to the door?” Jamie joked. “No I just said I’d get you.” Olivia answered. Kevin grabbed his things and they all walked out the door, locking it behind them and got in the car. At the airport they found that Nick, Brian, and Howie were already there. “Hey guys.” Jamie said giving them all a hug. Olivia did the same. They sat and talked, and the girls dreading that it was almost time to say goodbye. But the time came faster than they would have liked. AJ and Olivia held each other until Nick and Brian tried the pry them apart so they wouldn’t miss their flight. “Come on man we have to go.” Said Brian. “I’ll call you as soon as I can.” AJ said and gave her a kiss. A tear rolled down her cheek as she nodded her head. Nick and Brian gave her a hug at the same time and told her that they would watch AJ for her. She laughed and told them to go before she really started to cry. And they did after giving Jamie a hug and they told her the same thing. Howie also said his goodbye and was the first to reach the plane. Kevin and AJ were actually in front of Nick and Brian but then at the same time they both ran back to give the girls one last kiss before Brian pushed them back on. Jamie and Olivia laughed and watched them until they were out of site. They stayed by the gate until the plane taxied and waited until that too was out of site. “Well.” Olivia said with a sigh. “It’s just like old times. Just you and me.” “Yeah I really hope the time they’re gone goes fast.” “Me too.” “Shall we go Mrs. Richardson?” Olivia said. Jamie smiled. “Yes let’s go Mrs. McLean.” “I’m never going to get sick of that name.” The girls started walking back to AJ’s car, not all that sad about AJ and Kevin being gone since they knew that they had their whole lives ahead of them to spend with the two. And that’s how they wanted it to be. The End Chapters 61-64 Back to Fanfic Back to Main Page |
