	Chapter 11 "Snow!" Shouted Casey once she got off the bus. We had just arrived at a ski resort. "How long has it been since we saw snow last?" Brian asked when he got off. "Too long for me." I said. "It's too cold out here." Lori complained. "Oh be quiet. If we were at one of the mountains, it would be at least 10 degrees colder at the top. Then you'd be complaining that it was cold." Casey explained. AJ put his arms around her and she felt a little warmer. "Now for all you Florida natives, this white stuff is called snow. The best thing to do is put it in a ball and throw it like so." I showed them and threw the snow ball at Brian who wasn't looking. It hit him in the back in the head. He threw one back, I ducked, but it hit Howie. He then threw one at Nick who threw one at Kim. So we had ourselves a little snow ball fight. Brian pegged me in the face so I pushed him down and gave him a good face wash. All 10 of us ended up on the ground laughing our heads off. "Let's go skiing!" Casey shouted as she got up. We walked to the lodge and got our stuff. Casey, Brian, Kevin, Nick and I were going to go skiing while everyone else was going snowboarding. "How bout we meet back here at 7?" Lori suggested. We split off into our little groups. "Where should we go first?" Kevin asked. "Well, I know Casey is going to try and get me on one of those black dimonds, but I think that we should start with one of the greens." I said. Brian and Casey rode the chairlift together, leaving me with the guys. I was the lucky one that got to sit in middle on the chair. "You guys are strong, so if I fall you'll catch me right?" I said on the way up. "All right, if we gotta." Nick said teasing. "But I don't think falling is a possibility for those 2." Meaning Brian and Case. They we snuggling on the chair. That night Me, Kevin, Holly and Howie were in mine and Kevin's room talking. "So who did you guys do out there?" Kevin asked. "Not too good, I kept falling on my butt. I swear it's brused." Holly said. "Let's just hope it doesn't swell up cuz its big enough already." I said joking. "That was mean, now I have to kill you." She got a pillow and started chasing me. We ran around the room a few times till she fell. That's when I ran out into the hall. I ran towards Nick and Kim's room since it was the closest. I knocked on the door, but Holly came into the hallway before they answered. She was ready to beat me, but I ran to Brian and Casey's room and tried to get them out. They too didn't answer. AJ and Lori were my last hope. Holly was getting closer. I took off once again for their room. It was at the end of the hall, so if they didn't answer, I was dead. "Come on, come on." I said as I franticly banged on the door. It was too late, Holly cought up to me. "You must die." She said as she swung at me. I ducked, but fell doing it. She was then repeatly beating me with the pillow as Lori opened the door. "What?" She asked. Then she saw Holly beating me and said, "I think I'm a little late." "Yeah, I think so." I replied. Holly stopped by this time, and Lori helped me up. Everyone was in the hallway watching. "Thanks for helping Kev." I said. "Hey, I wanted to see what was going to happen between you two." He answered. The next day Me, Kevin, Nick, Casey and Brian decided to try and snowboard while the others went skiing. Things were going good for all of us, except for the fact we kept falling. "Casey, catch me!" I said as I was coming down the hill. She had her arms out like she was really going to catch me, but at the last second she moved out of the way. "Did we do that yesterday?" She asked. "Nope, we must be loosing it." I answered. See, it was sort of a tradition that every time we went skiing, we pulled something like that. "Where are the guys?" "Still up there." We watched them come down. Brian was the first of them to finish. "Well, look who decided to comew down." I said. The 3 of us watched Nick and Kevin come down. They both were doing really good, untill Kevin had a really bad fall at the end. One thing lead to another and Kevin had a dislocated sholder. That was about it for our ski adventure. ~~~~~~~~~~~ "You just had to go and bring up my tragic accident." Kevin said. "Sorry, but I had to." Casey said. "Before I pick a new thing, I think that we should all share our first kiss, since it's right up there with most memorible moment. Nick start, keep going around the circle." "Mine wasn't much, it was just with a little girl that lived around me." He said. "It was the boy that lived next door to me." Kim said. "I have the same story as Kim." Holly said. "Same as Nick." Howie said. "Same here." Kevin said. "Mine was Brian." I said. "Wish I could say the same, but mine is the same as Kim and Holly." Lori said. "Same as the other guys." AJ said. "Mine's the same as Amanda." Casey said. "Brian was quite the player now wasn't he?" Lori said. "My first kiss was from Amanda." Brian said. "Oh my god, look at the time. I need to go get something." I said getting up. I got some glasses. "Come here." They all moved over to where I was. "Here's some bubbly to to make New Year's complete." "Oh, we need the count down." Casey said turning on some station. "This is our first New Year's with all 10 of us. Last year the 5 of us sat around..." Lori started. "Yeah, trying not to get too drunk." Holly started. "I hope the computers don't crash, and we all die." Nick said joking. We counted down and of course had a nice New Year's kiss. After we all finished, AJ turned the lights off. "Oh no the power's gone." He said with no emotion whatsoever. "I'm afraid of the dark, hold me Amanda." Casey said jumping into my arms. "Uh, Brian, could you take her?" I said. "I'd love to." He said taking her from me. "What are we going to do now the power's out?" Howie asked. "Well, I guess there's only one thing to do." Kevin said holding me closer. "That sounds like a good idea to me." AJ said. We all shared another kiss or 2. Then we moved back into the living room. "Well, this has to be the best New Year's I've ever had." Kim said.
