I Remember When ~Chapter 1~ Hi my name is Lacey I'm 21 years old and live in Orlando Florida. You never know how much you really love a person until you lose them. That has happened to me (only for a little while though). But you wouldn't quite understand how I lost A.J. unless I explained it to you. Well here it goes. ------------------ "I can not believe we finally get to go see the guys!" Alison said as her, Clarissa, Rachel, and I got onto the plane. "Yeah me either. I miss them so much." I said. Today we finally get to see the guys. They have been on tour over in Europe for about 3 months and we haven't gotten to see them in 5. We are going to stay with them in London for a week since they have about 2 weeks off. We would stay a lot longer but we just couldn't get away from work and Alison, Clarissa, and I couldn't get out of college longer than that or we would get really behind. We sat down in our seats with Clarissa by me and Alison and Rachel sitting a few rows behind us. "I am shaking like crazy." Clarissa said to me holding out her hands. "Calm down it's not like we've never seen them before." I said. "Hey don't tell me you're not excited to see them." she said looking at me like I was nuts. "I am. But I'm not shaking. I just have butterflies. And it's getting really annoying." Clarissa giggled a little bit. Finally the plane taxied and 5 minutes later we were in the air. "Hey do you know where my CD case is?" I asked while looking in my back pack. "I can't find it anywhere." "No maybe Alison has it. I saw her looking through it this morning." "Well why didn't she put it back?" I asked. "Cause we were walking out the door when she was looking at it. Oh now I remember you told her to hang on to it 'till we got on the plane." "Oh yeah. I'll be right back." I got up and went back to where Alison and Rachel were sitting. "Hey Lacey what's up?" Alison asked as I got back there. "Oh nothin'. Hey can I have my CD case back?" "Oh sure." she picked up her back pack from in under her seat and took it out. "Here ya are." "Thanks." I said. I turned around and started to walk back to my seat. "Oh hey Lacey." Rachel called out. I turned around and walked back to them again. "Yeah?" I asked. "I forgot are they picking us up or are we meeting them at the hotel?" "Picking us up." I walked back to my seat and sat down. "Ok so let me get this straight." Clarissa started to say. "Jenny is flying out on Tuesday?" "Yeah that's what she said. She tried to take off but couldn't." I answered. "Nick must feel pretty bad." "It's only Sunday he can wait." Just to make this clear for you, I am dating A.J. of course, Clarissa is with Kevin, Alison is with Brian, Rachel is with Howie, and Jenny is with Nick. Jenny is also a friend of ours but just couldn't make it out with us so she is going to meet us there. I didn't really feel like talking anymore. I was really tired since I didn't get much sleep. I put on my headphones listening to one of my CD's and fell asleep. ~Chapter 2~ I woke up and saw Rachel sitting next to me reading a magazine. "Hey why are you up here?" I asked rubbing my eyes. "Clarissa got sick of sitting there watching you sleep so I thought I would be nice and let her sit back there till you woke up." She replied. "Oh...well how long was I asleep anyway?" I asked. "About 4 hours. Damn you really must have been tired." "Yeah I haven't gotten much sleep." I answered. "Well I told Clarissa I would tell her when you wake up so I'm leaving see you later." A few minutes later Clarissa came back and sat down. "Hi again. Have a nice nap? Any dreams of A.J.?" she asked. "No not really. Why dream about him when I can have the real thing soon?" "Good point." We spent the next few hours talking about the guys and just talking about other things. Finally it was time to land. "Welcome to London it's 11:45 PM and 60 degreas outside. We hope you have enjoyed your flight on ATA airlines and enjoy your stay." Said a stewardess up front. "Finally!" I sighed. The plane landed and we all got off. When we got into the building Clarissa and I waited for Alison and Rachel to get off. "Hey where are the guys?" Rachel asked as they walked over to us. "Yeah where are the guys?" I asked. We all looked around but they were no where to be seen. ~Chapter 3~ "OK where are they?" Clarissa asked me. "How should I know?" I answered. "Well you were the last one to talk to them." "Hey they said they would be here when we got here." "Well we have to get to baggage claim." Alison said. "So why don't we just slowly walk there." We started walking towards baggage claim following some of the people who were on our plain so that we wouldn't get lost. When we got there, there was still no sign of the guys. "What if they are up at the gate?" Rachel asked. "They would know to come here." Clarissa answered. We got all of our bags and moved to the side so other people could get in. "Well I guess we should just wait here till they come." I said. "You mean if they come." Rachel said getting mad. "They'll come." I said. "Do you really think they could be that careless and just leave us here? And don't say that they forgot because you know they didn't." "She's got a point there." Clarissa said. So we sat there for about 15 minutes. Staring at other people getting their things, not saying anything to each other just thinking of reasons why they didn't show. "Well do you know what hotel they are staying at?" Alison asked me. "No I never asked. Do any of you know?" I asked looking at Rachel and Clarissa. They both shook their heads no. Clarissa then got a huge smile on her face. "What?" I asked. "There they are." She said pointing behind me. I turned around and sure enough there they were running around the corner. When they saw us standing there, they slowed down and walked the rest of the way. But I ran to meet up with A.J. He picked me up and twirled me around a few times while the other guys went to meet up with Alison, Rachel, and Clarissa. When he put me down we kissed. I could have just stood there all day and kissed him. "Where were you guys?" I asked when we pulled apart. "I am so sorry hun." he started to say. "We got into a traffic jam. We went to the gate hoping that the flight would land later. But we saw that it didn't. So we ran down here." All I could do was smile. "Come on I want to say hi to the guys." I took A.J.'s hand and walked over to the rest of the group. I saw that Nick was the only one that wasn't occupied with someone so I went over to him. "Hey Lacey." Nick said and gave me a hug. "Hey Nick how are you?" "Oh fine. I just wish Jenny could be here today." He looked kind of sad. "Well she'll be here Tuesday. At least you get to see her." I said. "Hey Lace!" Brian said and walked over to me and gave me a hug. "Hey Rok! I've missed you." Brain is my best friend. I could just tell him everything. If I couldn't go to A.J. or the girls I would go to him. He was kind of like an older brother to me. "Well let's get going." Rachel said. "I'm tired." "Yeah me too." I said. "Geez Lace you slept like 4 hours on the plane and you're still tired?" Alison said. "Yes." "Ok." ------------------ "Bed! Sleep!" I said as soon as A.J. and I got into the hotel room. I crashed on the bed and almost fell asleep when A.J. started talking to me. "So what have you been up to?" he asked. "umm......I've been thinking about sleeping." I answered. I looked at him and smiled. "Will you please take off those sunglasses? I can't see your eyes." I just loved looking into his eyes. But I couldn't most of the time because he always had to wear sunglasses. He took them off and stared into my eyes. But not for long. I was so tired that I just drifted off to sleep. The last thing I heard him say was, "I love you." ~Chapter 4~ I woke up the next morning forgetting where I was. When I saw A.J. laying next to me it all came back. I had fallen asleep in my clothes. I was so tired. I got up and found some clothes took them into the bathroom and got dressed. When I came back out I saw that A.J. was still sleeping. He is so cute when he sleeps. "A.J." I said. "Get up." He just groaned. I didn't think he was awake yet. "A.J. wake up!" I said a little louder. I was about to start jumping on the bed when someone knocked on the door. I walked over and opened it. It was Rachel. "Hey wanna get some breakfast?" She asked. I looked back over at A.J. "Yeah I guess so A.J. won't get up." "Neither will Howie." She rolled her eyes. "I've tried everything to get that boy up. Then he threw a pillow at me so I stopped." I laughed a little bit and so did she. I walked back into my room and put on my shoes. "Ok let's go." I said. When I closed the door I noticed that A.J. had sat up. "Oh he woke up." "Oh well do you want to stay here then?" "No I'm hungry let's just go." "Wait let's see if anyone else is awake." Rachel said. After she said that we saw Clarissa poke her head out the door. "Hi." She said. "Where are you going?" "Breakfast." I said. "Oh I'm coming." she said. She walked out and closed the door behind her. Then we walked to Alison and Brian's room. I knocked on the door and she answered it. "Hey what's up?" She said. "What some food?" I asked. "Yeah sure." she went back into her room and got her shoes. We all headed downstairs and got some bagels and sat down at a table. "It's really nice seeing the guys again." Rachel said "Yeah I know." I said. "Sorry to change the subject but I think it would be really cool if I got to see John while we are here. I miss him so much." "How long has it been since you?ve seen him?" Rachel asked. "The last time I was at home in Wisconsin. I think that was about 2 or 3 months ago." I answered. John is my older brother. We get along so well. Like Brian I could tell him everything. He was one of my best friends as well. I don't know what I would do with out him. "I didn't know he was out here." Alison said. "What is he here for?" "Some college thing. I don't know. But I couldn't get a hold of him. I think my mom talked to him so he knows I'm here." "Oh there are the guys." Clarissa pointed over to the elevators as they all walked out. "Oh my god! He's alive!" I said pointing at A.J. He smiled at me. We spent about an hour catching up on the past few months and then we decided to split up and do our own thing for the day. So Rachel, Howie, Alison, Brian, and Nick decided to go do some site seeing while Clarissa, Kevin, A.J., and I went and did some shopping. --------------- "Wow this mall is huge!" Clarissa said as we walked in the doors. It was a 4 story mall. It takes about 3 or 4 hours just to get through the whole thing. So we spent most of the time looking through stores and buying tons of stuff. "Hey Lacey!" Clarissa called out to me. "Come here!" I walked out of the store leaving A.J. and Kevin. "What is it?" I asked. "Isn't that your brother?" she asked pointing to a tall dark haird guy talking to some girl. "Oh my god that is!" I said. He hasn"t changed a bit. Then he looked over in my direction and spotted me. He smiled and said good bye to the girl he was talking to while Clarissa and I walked over to him. Clarissa got to him first and gave him a hug. "Hey." he said to her. When they pulled apart he walked over to me and gave me a big hug and picked me up. "Hey mom told me you were coming out here! I'm glad I get a chance to see you!" he said "Yeah I've missed you so much." I said. "So how have things been?" He asked. "Oh just fine." I answered. "Why are you here? I thought you had some college thing to do." "Oh yeah well I have the day off so I thought I would come here for awhile and check out some of the girls." "Yeah like you could get a girl." Clarissa said jokingly. Clarissa, John, and I talked for about 15 minutes until he had to go. "Well I have to get going." he said. "Maybe I'll get to see you and your boyfriend later." He gave me another hug and left. "Oh shit I never told them where I was going. I hope they didn't notice I left." I said to Clarissa. When I turned around I saw A.J. staring at me looking really mad. ~Chapter 5~ "Who was that you were flirting with?" A.J. asked as he got closer to me. "What do you mean by that?" I asked. I really didn't like his attitude. "Who was that guy?" He asked again. "You know the one that you were all over." "What the hell is your problem A.J.?" I asked getting mad. "What's my problem? What's your problem? I walk out of a store and see my girlfriend hanging all over some guy." "A.J. if you would just listen to me I can explain." I said. Clarissa and Kevin had walked into a store and left us alone. "I don't want to hear any of your explanations. I'm out of here." "A.J.! Why are you being such an ass hole? I really didn"t do anything wrong now if you would just....." "You didn't do anything wrong?" He interrupted. "You know I'm not going to talk about this right now. Have a nice day. I'm leaving." He turned around and walked away not looking back. After Kevin and Clarissa saw that A.J. had left they came back out and walked over to me. "What is his problem? I didn't know he could get that jealous. I didn't do anything!" I said. "Wow." Clarissa said. "I take it he has never seen your brother huh?" "No and I was hoping he would get to. Well he got to but he thinks he was some guy I was flirting with. Yuck! That's sick, flirting with your own brother. Which I wasn't doing in the first place." I was really mad now. "Well why don't we just head back so that you can talk to him?" Kevin suggested. "Yeah OK." I said. -------------- Back at the Hotel When I got into the room I saw that A.J. wasn't there. He probably didn't even come back. I went to Brian and Alison's room hoping that they were there. They were. "Hey Lacey what's wrong you look mad." Brian said as he opened the door. "Have you seen A.J.?" I asked. "Yeah I think he went down to the pool. Why?" "We had a fight in the mall. If you come with me I'll explain the whole thing to you." So he shut the door and walked down to the pool with me. I told him everything. About John coming out here. Finding him in the mall and A.J. seeing us together, but being too stupid to hear me out.
