DID YOUR PARETNS WANT YOU TO FOLLOW A SINGING CAREER?
They would've liked me to have finished school and, no, they were quite
supportive. They're happy I was singing...

DO THEY COME TO YOUR CONCERTS?
My mum comes yeah, my dad once in a while.

DO THEY GET MOSHING DOWN IN THE MOSHING PIT AT THE FRONT?
moshing! My mum moshing! My dear old mum...

WITH EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE, IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU'D LIKE TO DO?

I'd like to come back and play in London again. We had a really great concert
here at Wembley last summer so we'd like to come back and tour Britain
again... I wouldn't mind some breakfast too...

CAN YOU DO YOUR TINA TURNER IMPRESSION?
-he does a bit of It's Only Love

HOW DID YOU CHOSE GREENPEACE?
Coz Greenpeace was founded in vancouver which is where I'm from and I've
followed with them since 1977 & so i've always sort of been a member of
Greenpeace

HAVE  YOU CONSIDERED MAKING A FILM?
No. Videos are enough I think! No acting for me thank you very much..

BUT YOU ACT IN YOUR VIDEOS DON'T YOU?
sad...

DO YOU ENJOY MAKING VIDEOS?
I enjoy it yeah. It's qiute fun. It depends on the director really but generally it's pretty good.

DO YOU THINK MUSIC IS A MEDIUM FOR CHANGE?
hummmm, these are very serious questions this morning. I think you can
influence people but I think ultimatley change happens anyways you know.
Things are always changing but music is a part of it isn't it? Let's hope
music keeps changing too.  I think roght now it's a glorious time for pop
music, a great time...

HOW BIG A DECISION WAS IT TO PLAY IN VIETNAM?
Well, we were actually playing in Thailand and we were invited to play in
Vietnam and I thought it was a great thing to do. I'd never seen Vietnam
before and was quite curious and so we did a show there. It was quite
interesting.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAME TO THE SHOW?
About 2000 pople and there was a lot of police there coz they didn't know if
it was gojng to be a riot, so there was a lot of people with battons waiting
to strike out but eventually by the end of the evening, the concert was like
any other with people dancing... it was a great night.

DO THEY KNOW YOU IN VIETNAM? ARE THEY BIG FANS?
ummm, hard to say. I think, uh...it's not like they got the BBC playing music
all the time there. I don't think there's actually a pop station playing music
for the kids but I think they get influence from all over Asia. It was really,
really interesting.

WGAT'S THE BEST THING BEING FAMOUS HAS BROUGH YOU?
the best thing..oh man...probably a good seat at a table. I think probably,
just being able to go out and play, for having a great life of playing music
all the time. We can now go and play anywhere in the world. We are starting
our tour on January 14th in Bombay , India. I love playing  and singing is I
guess the best thing that's happened is that I can continue to sing.
