Master drummer and founder of the Rasta community in Wareika Hills (ca. 1950s). Rico Rodriguez went early in the 1950s to his camp and became a rasta. Still today he is called "Man From Wareike" because the experience with Count Ossie and the people there made impact on his whole life.

Groundbreaking recordings in the 1970s with his group Mystic Revelation Of Rastafary

In October 1976 Rico and Dick Cuthell were recording in his camp. The sessions have been interupted by his sudden death during an accident.
