His first recording session was done at Kenneth Kkouri's Federal Studios with musicians Rico Rodriguez, Rolando Alphonso, Lester Sterling, Lloyd Mason, Johnny Moore, Jah Jerry, Lloyd Knibbs and Theo Beckford.
Rico Rodriguez particpated in the first session, Lloyd Daley organised in Kingston late 1950s. Reissues appeared during the 1990s on the Jamaican Gold release It's Shuffle 'n' Ska Time with Lloyd "the Matador" Daley, that covers the period from 1959 to 1966. The CD containes informative liner notes by Dr. Buster Dynamite based on an interview by Aad van der Hoek, Feb. 1994.
