During the 1990s the interest in ska music developed in Germany and led to an infrastructure for its promotion. Grover Records was one such place, where new and old musicians had the opportuity to release their amterial.
Rico Rodriguez came into contact with his You Must Be Crazy live recording (1994). He released a completely new studio album in 2000 on the label and contributed to several label sampler (Up Your Ears Vol. 1, Up Your Ears Vol. 3, Grover 50)
