Winding als wesentliche Inspiration seines Posaunenspiels. Rico
called him in the 1950s together with Kai Winding one of his principle
inspirations for playing trombone.
One
of the great jazz musicians of the last century passed away recently. I
have never heard a record by him. But I'm very curious and will look for
his music.
