Rico
and Perry never really worked together. They came close two times; in mid
1960s when both of them supported Prince
Buster and in mid 1990s when the two worked with the Mad
Professor. Their meeting in Kingston during Rico's recording sessions
in 1976 are well described by David Katz.
2004 marks
a new point of contact was made with Perry's recording with a Swiss band
called White Belly Rats.

to a Perry record until 2004. They were not together in the Mad Professor's

in Babylon. Rico plays on the title track of this new Perry outing
