formed 1961 as The Maytals, Jamaica
Rico Rodriguez already went to England when the Maytals started their carrier in 1962/63. They met in the 1970s, when Rico was back in Jamaica to record his Man From Wareika album. He contributed some beautiful solos to the Reggae Got Soul album and around 1980 he helped on Knock Out.
