1) Well, it has been 3 years since your last full-new studio album "3". How has
Firehouse evolutioned from that time.

Actually, we did another studio album called "Good Acoustics". It is a re-recording of many of our greatest hits it an acoustic format. We also put 4 new songs on the cd. Our new cd, "Category 5", is a full blown production cd with songs that are our best ever.

2) You are one of the 80's band that have better survived the whole alternative music and "anti-melody" trends. What's the secret of your success?
We just do the best we can do, and try to stay true to our rock and roll roots. There's really no secret, just write the best songs we can, and make the best recording we can.

3) How does sound on the whole "Category 5". What do you think of the final results of the recording?
This is the best sonic quality we've ever gotten on a FireHouse recording. The record is very diverse, so I think there's something on there for everybody

4) Why you have titled the record "Category 5"?
A Caterory 5 hurricane is the strongest storm. We feel that this is our stronget album ever.

5) How was the whole creative process?
We just wrote as much as we could individually, and then got together later to write as a group. At the end of the writing period, we just voted on the best songs.

6) At present you sell it through you website...Are there plans for bigger
distribution deals?

Yes, we're working on that now, but in the meantime, anyone can order our cd from our website:
www.firehousemusic.com

7) How does the live of a musician change from being a trendy band with the debut and the second albums and now having to start from point zero all over again?
Well, we're not exactly at point zero. We just played in front of 10,000 people last night, and we have a great new cd. I think that we always wanted to just play music for a living whether we were huge stars or not. The rest is just icing on the cake.

8) Do you follow the current AOR/MELODIC ROCK scene?

Not really, I've been to busy trying to keep up with FireHouse. I'm constantly in my studio recording new music, but when I get a break, I listen to the radio, MTV, and VH-1

9) You have been touring intensly this summer. How have been the overall reaction in the giggs?
The reaction has been great. We have so many people coming up to us and saying how much they love the new songs. That's really gratifying.

10) Well, that's the end of the interview. Would you like to say something to the fans?
Thanks for sticking with us over so many years. We really hope you'll check
out our new cd. See you on tour.....
