When I first heared this recording I thought that something had happened to the speedometer. It sounded like the speed was way off, but very little pitchshifting was necessary. U2 really played that fast that night. Larry seems to be really into it that night since he's hitting the bassdrum like he's playing a double bass drum. Stand out tracks on this recording are Bad, New year's day and to my surprise Knocking on Heaven's door with Bono sharing out his guitar to audience members like during the Joshua Tree tour. Actually, all the tracks are outstanding. '40' is incomplete with the last minute missing. CD 2 is also a little less in quality compared to CD 1. |
