October 30, 1984. Rotterdam, Holland. Sport Paleis Ahoy.

Sound Quality:
Good audience. This recording is very good for an audience recording
from 1984. All the frequencies are quite audible, as well as the bass
and the high sounds. The audience reactions are well heard but it's not
irritating. The music tops the audience.

Comments:
This is a very "rare" bootleg. To my knowledge only 25 were printed.
The discs are gold colored, which could indicate that they are made on
private CD-Rs. The disc printing is very plain; only black letters
giving the name of the bootleg and the source. The back of the bootleg
says it is made in Milano (Italy) but when I bought it the shop owner
said that the distribution was only in the Netherlands. This bootleg
came together with the Amsterdam 1989 show (also 25 copies). The
cover is nice but single-sheeted. The back has the same background.
Two pictures shot by Anton Corbijn during the The Unforgettable Fire
photo session make the artwork worthwhile. Together with Nantes, these
are the only complete 1984 shows on bootleg I think. The show is strong
and solid. The audience sing along very well. With only 90 minutes of
disc space used, the bootleg could have been filled with another
recording, but this is not done.
This is the original pressing on this label.
