Amun Re are from Gloggnitz in Austria. It's not everyday that you get to hear a band from that beautiful country. Well Amun Rea are a seven-piece though they started as a trio in 1991. Many line-up changes have brought to the band several different styles but they have created their own as proven in this demo. It may be not really original but it sure has quality. I would say that this is Melodic Rock/AOR with some epic touches and good arrangements. Just imagine how Balance of Power or Ten would have sounded if they were still doing AOR. witha little bit of progressive here and there specially explicit in the last track "A Winter's Tale".

INFORMATION

Fatal Smile are a Stockholm based act originally formed six years ago by Yuksel Unutmaz. Along with Yuksel (guitars) we find Niclas Jonsson (vocals), Markus Johansson (bass) and Richard Johansson (drums). Their music influences are a mix from the 70's 80's and 90's though don't expect a grungy act here. This is hard rock in Jekyll and Hyde/Amaze Me style with powerful riffs and good melodies. They certainly have an attitude, just take a listen to "Hip Motherfucker"... all fans of Z Records products should take a look at this promising band.
