In Arizona, a music professor refused to let him enroll in a music composition class, telling Troy that he "lacked any musical talent." The Professor then suggested that he should join the school's football team.
Since that time, Troy has written several compositions for original plays and other productions including musicals, a marching band, for television commercials, and video games. He has been nominated for several awards, and received commendation for "the best original music in a college production in a 1996 Nationwide competition.
Troy's first love is Percussion, but is also a fluent player of the piano, flute, clarinet, and guitar.
Self
described as "a nerd trapped in a linebacker's body," Troy is also a published
poet and writer and is currently studying for degrees in Web Design and
Multi-media Development.
