Tremor's atmospheric metal has changed since their first CD... A new female singer,
a different sound - they now sound more as a unity, they flowed together. The music is
dreamy and atmospheric with a hang to old times... The vocals are very good, Maaike has a
beautiful voice, and Oscar has the ability to change between straight and grunt. Nice
guitarwork and bass; the
drumwork is good but sometimes it seems to live its own life, and finally the keyboards
give a classical and atmospheric touch.
They played 2 songs from their CD, all the rest was new. The songs that really stand out
are: Gentle River (from their CD) , Eye of Time (classical sound) , and Unicorn (a speedy
song with changing tempos).
In short, a very promising band, i'm curious about their new CD. Rumours say that they are
even going to play in the new promotion tour of The Gathering...
