Nessie Nessie is a rare phenomenon that occurs in the water near marinas. I have only sighted 2 Nessies in the whole time that I have played Simcity 2000. To increases the chances of seeing Nessie: Build a city with plenty of water. Nessie likes to have space to swim Build a lot of Marinas along the water. Make sure that boats still sail though. Save the city and let it run for about 15 years then reload it. It increases your chances of seeing Nessie. Nessie roars when she shows up so pause when you hear the roar. The Call Of The Bull Moose To hear the call of the Bull Moose: Take the bulldozer tool and run it over some forest. Eventually a box will pop up that says "Citizens Are Protesting Your Destruction Of The Forest". Continue to bulldoze the forest. A box will pop that says you are destroying the natural habitat of the Bull Moose. The box will ask if you want to hear the call of the Bull Moose. Pick "Yes". You must have a sound card and sound effects on to enjoy this. Shoot Down The Helicoper You can shoot down the helicopter anytime you see it just by using the centering tool on it. If you have a sound card he says "I'm Hit!" as you shoot him and as he is about to crash he shouts "Mayday, Mayday!" If you have disasters turned on this acts as a plane crash so beware. Traffic Report Not really to much of a hidden secret but if the helicopter moves over an area of heavy traffic he says "Simcopter 1 reporting heavy traffic". Trapped Plane Every so often a plane will get trapped behind an arcology. Plane You can download this city (35,419 bytes) and check it out for yourself.
