"That's It"

This article makes me sound like I was a klutz. Well, that didn't happen to me till I was at least twelve. It is pretty hard to walk in the woods at night. I was unaware of the search party looking for me, but I must have seen them. After walking through the woods for hours, at night, I noticed a band of lights in the far distance. So this smart seven year old kid said 'cool, street lights',and started walking toward them. After walking and falling a few times I looked up, and all around, just to notices that those street lights were gone (Damn!). Yes, the street lights were really flashlights. So, after that crushing blow to my spirits, I carried on with my original plan.

The fact that it was nighttime actually help me find my way out of the woods. This mountainous area happend to have a television tower antenna located on it (WVIT Channel 30). You know, the kind of antenna that's so high up that it requires flashing lights on it to help prevent air planes from hitting them. Well, it's also good for helping lost seven year old kids find their way out of the woods. I knew that there had to be a road near this thing. So, by dawn I was out of there.
