- this is basically one note all the way through (E), occaisionally with
(G) aswell. The tricky bit is creating the funny 'scratching sounds you can
hear in the song. This is because the note(s) are not strummed they are
'hit' as follows" -

     (a) use a fairly hard plectrum,
     (b) strike the string with the edge of the plectrum, each time moving
     slighty further down, but not so far as to be over the fretboard - in
     other words over the pickups.

- in this bit kenwyn slides up to 12 whilst crossing over with his other
