- went to disted college and met lots of nice people (merlinda, guan hong, chun seng, chee teng, kuen siang). elected to the student council....(someone must had bribed some people to vote for me). i lost contact with some of them already.. organised games at disted prom night (i was alone, no date...). and my 2nd major crush... nothing happened actually. you can say i failed miserably.
- still remember that my table was the male-only table at prom night. awesome night. disted soccer team was errr...ok, beat some teams (international school) and got trashed by ipg and one malay "kampung" (village) team. the kampung team hammered us badly.
- usa 94... germany was really awful against bulgaria.. didn't really like brazil at that time... no samba in the jumba... or whatever... the final was crap.
- yeah, members went to uni. banana wanted to kill the cat and throw it down the building!!!!!! and everybody fell in love... ok, not everybody.. some people. not me again.
- the first CNY gathering was held in a restaurant in taman selasih, near the traffic light. awesome atmosphere (we scared the crap out of other customers, we were noisy)..
- some people went away, here, there and everywhere.
- went camping with the smsb crew one week before my mid-year disted exam!!!! i rode a bike there. mad!
1995
- second cny gathering was held in beefen's house. we got scolded coz we were too noisy.
- went to metropolitan. met jeremy and the crew... where are those people now, especially jem o?
- pearl jam and rem. 2 words. they rocked.
- oh yeah, lied to parents when i took a flight back from kl to penang. not by bus. hahaha
- bought the "bends" in pennylane during my brief stay in subang. hmmm.... heard butterfingers on thr, "who's frank sinatra?"
- joined "soy - straight out of york" and met one cool live fan and got my awesome "look where all this talking got us, baby" t-shirt and that rare live debut album, public affection and mtv unplugged stuffs. thank you tanya murnock. where are you now?
- this is the year that i watched "forrest gump".
- was hammered with cakes and other stuffs at chun seng's birthday party.

1996
- the 3rd CNY gathering was initiated.... pretty impressive.. at a taman selasih restaurant. oh, we went to the clock-tower to talk and talk.
- missed out cranberries coz dolores fell down and injured herself in new zealand..
- went for a really ridiculous trip with another 2 pals of mine. kota kinabalu, kk for short. korny korn? of course, i was lucky. the suicidal fall. thank God.... i rafted for the first time. majestic! nuff said.
- get to know dragon loong (brunei's version) who turned out to be my best pal in brunei. first thing he did was to take me to a clinic.. hahaha
- met the king of malaysia and najib.
- ... another mad spontaneous vacation in bako. the monkeys stole our instant noodles.
- in three words. thailand. pattaya. bangkok.
- i met chaiyan's mum..thanks boy. you don't write anymore...... a really strange trip to say the least. the things going on...

1997
- weird year...the fourth CNY gathering was held at the Rest House. the attendance were good, can't say about the food.
- sometime this year, i met 3 nice people through the chat, donea and jayne, it's my pleasure to know you. and to a special person, i will always remember you.
- the nassau all-star soccer team went into action.. losing all 3 games.. but still we provided on-field comedy.. chill baby.
- became tour guide brunei's dragon in kl.
- bad hazy days are here...
- drove to butterworth for the first time around midnight... my parents didn't know it...
- 13th september, get to meet the prince at the convocation dinner, i got the cash prize!
- "ok computer" became what i must call the most depressing album of all time. "no suprises" and "let down" are the highlights.

- 3rd major crush. nothing happened.
- reached the quarterfinal of the ubd closed badminton tournament with junaidi
- tyre in the drain and the law of physics....stayed the night at dragon's house. army daze. and went to miri.
- college 2 won both the ping-pong and badminton competition...cool! i was in the team.
- started my little "so-called life" collection in november.
- 4th major crush. probably one of the best time of my life was spent from 8 dec to 14 dec. thank you. though it shouldn't have ended that way...
- a good trip at a wrong time. i thought i was a goner when i was swept down during rafting but then... thanks, God.
- made international phone calls for the first time.
- went to mensa's rpg camp. won the treasure hunt...long live "trenchant" !!!
1998
- i made a terrible mistake. a mistake is still a mistake.
- 5th cny gathering in chong cheng's hall. sharing session. ok, the titanic theme was...err...no comment.. then went for supper and returning home at 4 am. mad!
- the international students' soccer team scored the first win, a trashing over the staffs.. 4-1 or 5-2.
- i sprained my wrist and ankle during basketball. first time i asked a hospital for help.

- went to hatyai/phuket twice with fellow lb 3:16 following me once... still can't forget the bus driver from hell!!!!! it was a great time. on on and tong nam (cheap hotels). i had great times here. thank you.
- bought a lot of cds from tower, hmv, victoria... these are my crazy music collection days.. the brutal truth.
- well, life goes on. people come and go. what am i talking about? that particular day in august.
- but then there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. saw it once in a while. :)

- got into squash as i lost my badminton bags which contains 3 racquets.. burn in hell, you thief.. anyway, need to thank ben, francis and my mentor, dr tan. now, i am a mad dude in the court.
- hey, whose idea was it to go to megamall for the new year countdown? well, didn't even get close to the destination. 1 hour, moving less than 50 metres. bad idea.
1999
- started badly. the thesis was killing me. didn't have inspiration nor motivation!!!

- 6th cny gathering. kelang lama. cool. everybody grows up except me. i wore a korn shirt!!!! hardcore dude. all the pics were spoilt. :(
- went through the walktrough for "of light and darkness". it took me around 15 hours in 2 days to finish the game.
- i probably made the biggest mistake in my life. i underestimated the destructive power of the thesis. the worries, pressure and stress. i got really sick. i am sorry for myself and everyone else.
- maybe i was too singular minded? expected too much? comparing myself to other people? pleasure and pain?
- 6th may, i did something totally mind**** in the library. mad for it. ahha
- 13th may, finished the exam. didn't study at all for the final paper, it's a stupid paper, actually.
- went out for a mad roadtrip in sabah. awesome, that's all i can say. thank you marc, markus, burst and anna. great time.

- for the 4 years here, i am still not sure it was the correct decision. anyway, i am finished with ubd. results out, 2nd upper class honours. not too bad.
- 18th sept. i had my graduation day. 4 straight book prizes. it ain't bad. pics were taken, 4 rolls actually. and tears were shed (not really).
- 22nd. i saw brunei for the last time (maybe not).
- missed out suede as the lizard fell ill in australia.. damn.
