White Zombie
White Zombie, consisting of Rob Zombie (Vocals), J. (Guitar),
Sean Ysults (Bass), John Tempesta (Drums), formed in 1985. They named the band after
the 1932 movie White Zombie. The band have been around so long that only Rob and
Sean are the original member, there have been 5 guitarists (before J. there were:
Ena Kostabi, Tim Jeffs, Tom Guay (Tom Five) and John Ricci) and 4 drummers (before
John, Peter Landau, Ivan De Prume and Phil Buerstatte).
Where and When
Rob was born in Haverville, Massachusettes on 12-1-1965, Sean
in North Carolina on 6-6-1965, J. in Chicago on <no birth date found>, and
John in The Bronx, New York on 19-8-1963. Before forming the band, Rob was a production
assistant, messenger and did lay-outs in a porn magazine, Sean also worked on lay-outs
is a porn magazine and cleaned cafeteria tables, J. delivered pizzas by bicycle (btw,
during this time he had a gun put to his head TWICE!!).
Rob
HE does almost all the artwork for the WZ albums and his supposedly making
his own comic book and he also helped draw scenes for the Beavis and Butt-head movie
(he did the one where Beavis eats a cactus and starts hallucinating).
WZ have toured with alot of different bands including Anthrax, Pantera, Danzig,
My Sister's Machine, Testament, Toadies, Filter, Supersuckers, EyeHateGod, Reverend
Horton Heat, Monster Magnet, Live Skull, Pussy Galore, Honeymoon Killers, Chemlab,
Nudeswirl, and the Deftones to name a few.
Their influences include Black Sabbath,
The Ramones, Alice Cooper, KISS, The Cramps, The Necros, Butthole Surfers, The Misfits,
Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Black Flag, Cheap Trick, AC/DC, and Metallica.

It is apparent that Rob says "Yeah" a lot more in the songs,
than the lyric sheets say, here exactly is how many times he said "Yea"...
