  SECTION A. 

  1. Is it true that Heather Grody and Leisha Hailey met at school?

      - Yes. Heather and Leisha met in New York in 1991, while both were
        studying acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. At first,
        they recall, that they hated each other, but soon after made a
        connection that still stands. They began performing together that
        summer.

   1b. Where is Heather from?

        - Heather is from Florida.  

   1c. Where is Leisha from?

        - Leisha is originally from Nebraska.  

  2. The Murmurs first album was the self-titled one right?

      - No. The Murmurs released an independent debut album, Who Are We.
        This contained a few of the songs that were later to appear on the
        self-titled album.

  3. I've heard that Leisha is in a new movie called "All over me". True?
     False?

      - True. The film, released by Fine Line Features is now playing in
        Los Angeles and San Francisco. It is directed by Alex Sichel and
        written by her sister, Sylvia Sichel. I've seen the trailer and it
        looks really good.

    3b. Has Leisha done anything other than "All Over Me"?

         - As to date Leisha has made a few appearance on television such an 
           appearance in the cafe scene of Ellen's coming out episode.  She                                   
           also played a guitar toting hippie on an episode of "Boy Meets 
           World".  

  4. The song "White Rabbit" on the single White Rabbit is not by the Murmurs?

      - No. It was originally written and sung by Grace Slick of Jefferson
        Airplane.

  5. The Murmurs album says "this record is dedicated in loving memory of
     Sheiliah" who is that?

      - Shieliah is Heathers mother. I am assuming she passed away shortly
        before the record was made.

  6. Is that was "Beautiful Peace" is about then?

      - Yes. "To ascend to a broader more wonderful life than this", "a
        new world waits for you"

  7. Is there is a "subliminal" message at the end of "Ticket to Zen"?

      - Well, try  turning it up for the final ten seconds and you can hear a                         
        male voice saying, "The murmurs rock my world".

  8. Is it true that Leisha is dating singer/songwriter k.d.lang?

      - It was reported in Advocate magazine that two are a couple.
