Video/DVD Releases

Along with the debut album, the music videos were released in VHS and DVD format. The videos where the US versions of I Want You, To The Moon & Back, Truly Madly Deeply, Break Me Shake Me, and Tears Of Pearls. The Australian release of these videos called "Savage Garden - The Story So Far" also included an interview with the band.

After the Affirmation tour the "Superstars and Cannonballs: Live and on Tour in Australia" DVD/video came out. The DVD includes a documentary called "Parrel Lives" and music videos as well as other special features. To quote the blurb 'This is SAVAGE GARDEN like you've never experienced before.' It's also the last we have seen of them. Their last performance was in South Africa at Bellville Velodrome, Cape Town on December 17, 2000.

Album Artwork

Savage Garden has always been more than just the music, more than just its players, and certainly more than the sum of its parts. One of the parts included the art work that was most boldly displayed on the debut. The contents where led by the art direction and design of Aimee Macauley, Art Director at Sony and photography by Yelena Yemchuk who was inspired by The Garden of Earthly Delights by Hieronymous Bosch. She was also responsible for the design of Affirmation and Stephane Sednaoui was the photographer. Incidentally Stephane has also worked with U2 and did the interior photography for POP with Anton Corbijn and Anja Grabert.

Up-coming release

It has been mentioned that there is a Greatest Hits to be realsed in 2003. A track listing was drawn up but is now being revised by Daniel and Darren. When I get a hold of info regarding this release I'll post it here.

Darren has released a solo debut album in 2002 called Spin.
