Kovenant Photo Page
Kovenant (Norway) played with Amorphus (Finland) and Moonspell (Portugal) at the Whisky in Hollywood on May 19, 2000. Kovenant were totally fantastic and got the best response of all the bands. All of them were great. Kovenant played with a lot of energy and clarity and had a really great time on stage and felt very honored to play the Whisky because the Doors got their start there. Their singer was really into being a Satanist and ripped a Bible on stage when playing "Spaceman" and other songs. After they were through, and they were changing the equiptment for Moonspell, he went back on stage to burn the Bible and there it into the audience.
Moonspell played a very dark gloomy set. Amorphus played very orignal sounding metal with lots of different influences from folk and classical.
I like the many different color braids in Psy Coma's hair. This is totally wild!
