The guys are currently in the recording studio doing their 4th album, Chairpage has updated information each day and photo's are there as well. Im sure everyone already knows this, when more news is available check back.

The other night on rage i was lucky to see the clip for "Rain". It was basically the shots used for Daniels upcoming role in 'Love is a Four Letter Word'. I think rage is playing it again soon, so keep your eyes open.

In other news, if you havent been along to chairpage and checked the reviews and photo's from silverchair's Falls Festival gig, then get your butts there now. The photo's were cool and the show sounded like it went off.

If you havent been to "i cant believe its not rock!" yet, then i suggest you move you butt!!. For people who have not heard, while Daniel was on his break, he did a duo with Paul Mac (you may remember that he is the DJ who remixed "freak" back in 1997). So the two of them put together some songs for fun, and now they are available only online and it is limited. so hurry up..

News that has been and gone, but i didnt put it up, is that silverchair are now on John Watsons label Eleven. This is an independent label in which silverchair would prefer.

-silverchair released a press report stating that they have officially left their mumur/sony label.
-silverchair along with guns and roses, rhcp and the foo fighters are playing that the rock in rio festival in Brazil in January 2001.
-sony is releasing a 2 disc compliation of THE BEST OF silverchair which will feature rare b-sides and a few live tracks.look out for vol.1 and 2
-CHANNEL V artist of the year award @ the ARIAS was again given to the chair. this is their 4th time!! good on ya guys!!
