Jan. 1st 2000- Wow, that's strange...anyway.
This morning 1 minute after midnight Much music showed their first music video of the 'millennium' (for those of you with any brains you know the millennium doesn't start till next year..) It was the premeire of "Show me the Meaning of Being Lonely". What a way to ring in the new year. The saddest song you've ever heard goes hand in hand with the most depressing video i've ever seen. This is a REALLY good video. It is done in alot of black and whites with small amounts of colour. Kevin is sitting in a room watching old home movies of him and his father, his father died of cancer years ago. Brian is watching himself in a hospital room. Brian had heart surgury last year. Howie is in a coffee shop drinking coffee and waiting for something. A woman ran to him and then dissapeared. Howies sister died of Lupus last year. A.J. is on a bus. I have no idea what this represents other than the fact that the bus is heading for "Denniz" St. Denniz Pop, the Backstreet Boys friend and writer died last year. Nick is walking down the street in the rain. He saves a girl from being run over by the bus that A.J. is on. I have no idea what this represents. This video is very sad. (I think that sums it up quite nicely how 'bout you?) The only thing that I would change is Nicks clothing. What the hell is he wearing! Boy needs to get a better fashion consultant. He looks even stupider than normal. That hat is the worst thing i've ever seen. The rest of the group looks incredible. Even Howie is bareable because the gery-curl is under control. I love it. I taped it of course) and have now watched it 10 times. If you haven't seen it...do so!

Jan 3rd/2000- Wow, okay. Since I have been away for like a week, I missed the premier of the video, UGH. Anyways, I am over at Sarah's house, and since she taped it, I watched it rather willingly.
Anyways, I just have to say, Kevin, AJ, SEXY! I am now the biggest AJ fan! And Kevin... when he nodded to Howie(forget Howie, ugly fag), I was like melting. That man should be crowned "King of all things Sexy!" (Especially when he came walking out of the elevator... sexiness..)
Next. Okay, Nick. What the Fuck? I bet he dresses himself, cause NO one has taste THAT bad! I mean lose the hat! It would have been a WHOLE different thing if they had all been dressed in the 30 Garb, but it was just him! In a modern day video! What a loser...
Okay, Brian, he was in this video way too much. We needed way more of AJ and Kevin! But he looked pretty good. The "in the hospital" thing was pretty sad, I guess...
Howie...well what can you say abut him... Well, the thing that bothered me the most was the lips. The make-up in this video made them look SOOOO big. Funny shit man...
AJ deserves his own section. I just loved when he came off the bus, and put his cowboy hat over his heart with that dramatic look, then put it on his head. It was SO cute! I love him so much!
Kevin also deserves his own rather LONG section. Now Kevin... Mr. Sexiest man in the world. I love him so much! Denim is SO him,(and leather is SO AJ) and it makes him look SO good! I love him, and I LOVE his spiky hair!(so much better then the shagg...)
The one thing that was horrible in this video... Not enough close ups! Not at all! I wanted WAY more Kevin and AJ close ups!
In my opinion, this video was pretty cool, just Larger then Life was better...

Jan. 3rd, 2000.-wow (sorry i had to say it. couldn't break the trend) anyways...unlike alana, i was at sarah's and did see the video the very 1st time they played it. and i must say...kevin and a.j. looked really really yummie. does anyone else just wanna lick them? haha, ok, getting a bit off topic there. anyways, even I liked this video. i thought it was really good...up until i saw nick that is. i started to laugh my head off. i'm sorry, but he just ruins the whole video. what is with that hat?!?! ok, i'm not a howie fan AT ALL, but even he looked O.K. the jerry-cur was undercontrol, but the lips looked terribly oversixed. too much make-up i think. brian..eh...not the biggest brian fan, but for sarah's sake, i'll say that he was doing pretty good. but a.j. and kev....still by far the best. alana, am i drooling? hehe

Jan 4th/2000- Kevin...man, I love you. Does this man ever look BAD anymore? I mean, okay when he had the shagg... TOTAL different story, but now, he always looks good! Especially in this video! He had the coolest "part" too(or whatever the hell you want to call it.) It very much went with his personality too.(the whole pilot thing)
Now AJ! He's my man. He was the always cool AJ in this video. What pisses me off are the people who are making fun of him for wearing that crop top thingy in the dance sequence. You people wear whatever you want, right? Well let him wear whatever the hell he wants too!
Okay, Nick... his whole role can be summed up in two words. Dumb-Ass. What is with this guy? Just like in the Show me the Meaning video, he ruined a perfectly good video! The robots and shit behind him were cool, but him? Psh, just kick him out of thebloody band guys! You don't need those stupid teeny bopper fans anyway!
Brian... What the hell is with the hair slicked straight up at the front? That is the thing most made fun of by me in this video... But his part is cool I guess.
Howie? What the hell are you supposed to be? The poor rip off of Jamiroquai(or however you spell it, I am not a fan people!) is just Not cool, especially by you. And those girls he is dancing with? Geeze, it would have looked better if he was dancing with other men...
Finally, we get to my favourite part! The dance sequence! I love this video pretty much just because of it! Me being a dancer myself, and being a total lazy ass, not wanting to study for exams... learned the whole dance in a week. There was a lot of pausing and replaying goin' on there, believe you me! Nick kind of ruins this part with the ugly shirt, I mean, geeze! I really did NOT need to see your flabby fucking arms! Could have lived without that one. Also, Howie's braided hair thing... not very stylish in my opinion. I loved the leather(I really don't care if it was pleather!) on both Kevin and AJ... Star, am I drooling!?
All in all, this video was the kick in my opinion, even if they did spend way too much money on it, and also for the fact that Nick was in it...

Jan 4th/2000- Yes, the other girls are going to yell at me for ruining our perfect order of reviews, but you know what? I HAVE to review this v, NOWideo!
The beginning is HORRIBLE. Okay, Kev, we don't need that hair in your eyes, and the bug sunglasses? Those two combinations make it so that you can hardly even see half of his face! His funky homie-g dancing makes me want to fall down laughing as well. So horrible... Nick is pretty much just acting like a fag as usual... and what is with Howie and the guitar? can he even PLAY the guitar? I seriously doubt it. Brian looks like a cutie, and is acting like a normal person, which is good. AJ is just a big cutie... but I don't like that Bone necklace! Too... freaky...It's like he has turned into Crocodike Dunbdee or something... he killed an animal, and now he is wearing it's bones as a trophee around his neck! Yeah! I have no problem with the fact that he is wearing an animal, it is just... I dont know, freaky on him.
Ahh... onto my favourite part! The rain sequence! This whole part makes up for the seriously retarded beginning. Kevin looks... well to quote myself, "I could just lick him!" He looks so good... and all those people are whinning cause he has a boner or whatever... So what? What is WRONG with that I ask you? Nothing in my opinion... AJ also looks lickable in this part. He is just such a cutie! I love the whole way that he has about himself, I don't knbow how to explain it... It's just the way he dancers, the way he walks... I don't know, I just love him, he is the coolest.
Now to the wrongness of this video... Howie...Howie...Dear Howie... Please don't ever fondle yourself on camera again! I have to look away or I will go blind every time those parts come on! As for Nick, I just want to know, why is he sitting, looking all depressed on the bleachers when the rest of them are all dancing around, and Kevin and AJ are being sexy? Like what is this guy's childhood trauma? He is a loser, yes, but geeze, I think I JUST realized WHAT a loser he is. Brian is cool in this part I guess...(I am saying this for Sarah's sake...) I am not his number one fan or anything, but there was nothing really to make fun of him for. One thing I do have to say about him though, is that, that bastard can jump way high!
