Alex knew about this book. Of couse, I would never do anything without his permission. I would never do anything to hurt him. I did this as a scrapbook of our memories for the fans to know what it was liked to be loved back by one of the the BSB Boys. If you ask Alex...quote: "It brings back lot of good memories." No disrespect to Amanda because I think she is a very cool chick. There are no hard feelings here between all of us. And as AJ would say, "You can't please the whole world. As far as my life goes, I am a very busy woman and working all the time. I make a nice living and don't need AJ's money to survive. So, I hope this has enlighted you a bit and no longer have hard feelings.
MEENDY, THE CREATOR: So,how are you today? MARISA JACKSON: I am great. MC: I hadn't read your book since I don't have it. Obviously, it sells pretty good because some store workers told me that they were sold out. Tell us about it. MJ: This book was like a small scrap book of some of our memories together for fans to know what it was like to be loved back by a Backstret Boy. And as Alex quoted "It is nice to see great memories of our passed" MC: Well, if it was me, it would be too irritating to put out stuff about my ex. They were jerks anyway but I know that AJ wasn't. So, your internet page, www.lovingaj.com will contain exclusive materials. Can you give us details? MJ: The webpage www.lovingaj.com is going to be great! It will have never before seen home video we took together, more never before seen photos and audio of Alex. MC: Cool, I'll make sure to visit it a much as I can. Now, back in the days, AJ told us that he didn't have a girl. I didn't believe him since he look like type of a guy that will always have a girl. How did you felt about the fact that he had to lie? MC: It was in his best interest to the Boys at that time in the beginning of his career. So it didn't bother me at all. MC: I understand. Okay, did you know any other BSB girls? If so, can you tell us about them? MJ: I have known many of the girls and all of them were great! MC: I know what you mean. I'd been in contact with Samantha and she's so sweet. Okay, do you have a lot of tattoos or/and/ piercings? MJ: I have 4 tattoos and 1 piercing. MC: Had AJ ever wanted to get something tattooed that represent you or your relationship with him? MJ: No, but I did get my first with him when he got the dragon on his back. MC: So he was there to hold your hand. Next question, okay? How did you two meet? MJ: My mother and step-father introduced us in 1992. MC: How did you two seperated and when? MJ: We seperated in February of 1998, we were too young to settle witout experience in this world. MC: So, in some way, you two were kind of a high school sweetheart even though AJ didn't go to high school. Do you have a boyfriend now?
MJ: No. MC: If you were just a regular girl that had never met AJ or BSB. Do you think that you'll like them? Would AJ had been your favorite Backstreet Boy? MJ: Yes, course. MC: Did you two had a song? MJ: Yes, "I Swear" by All-4-One. MC: That song is so beautiful! Now what was the thing that he did that made your mad? MJ: He picks his fingers. I hate that!!!! MC: I noticed that too. Now, here's something interesting: There were rumors about the Marisa Mystery. A lot fans thought Marisa was in series of BSB videos. Also, there was a rumor that AJ met a girl named Marisa Jackson, who was one of the Wrights' dauther. The rumor stated that he slept with her even before a serious relationship. Can you clear the up for us? MJ: We were kids and did not jump in bed with each other right away. Not 'till later on in out relationship. MC: I'm so glad to hear that! That was kind of personal so do these questions make you feel uncomfortable? MJ: No, not at all. MC: Were you and AJ party people? Y'all seemed like you were young, happy, fiesty couple. MJ: We were definitely party animals. MC: I bet you were. What was the sweetest thing he ever did? MJ: Take me away to a beautiful hotel in Orlando to get way. That was the night we got tattooed. MC: That sound sweet! Hey, were you afraid of BSB fans? MJ: No, not at all they were my support and always looked out for me and Alex. MC: Some of us were anyway... So, did you traveled a lot? MJ: Yes. MC: What's you occupation? MJ: Artist manager. MC: Do you have a favorite music artist/group? MJ: Yes, Backstreet Boys. MC: Really. Do you have any pets? MJ: Yes, I have 6 kitties. MC: So cute!! So when's your birthday? MC: Cool. What's your full name? MJ: Marisa Anne Jackson. MC: Had AJ ever cheats on you? Have you ever cheat on him? MJ: I am pleding the fifth on this one. MC: That's all right. I know that it's personal. Now, how do your feel about AJ's current relationship? MJ: I think Amanda is a very cool chick. MC: Thanks so much for the interview. Marisa Jackson has stayed friends with A.J. since their break up. "I'm glad the Boys are doing so well -- I knew they would from that first day in the studio," she says. With their Millenium album selling five million copies since its release in June, the Backstreet Boys are a true phenomenon. So is there life after Backstreet? "You bet there is," says Marisa. She has followed in her family's footsteps, and is now managing and developing new recording artists in Orlando. She wanted to write this book so that other girls would know what it was really like to date a Backstreet Boy. "There are so many girls out there in love with the Boys," she says. "I was one of the
lucky ones who was loved back."
