We fully support Samantha Stonebraker and her new book, "What You Wanna Know." The creater of this website just currently had an interview with the lovely writer. |
MEENDY (CREATER): Hey, Samantha, your book is so fantastic. SAMANTHA STONEBRAKER: Hey Meendy! Great to hear from you again. I'm glad to hear that you like the book. MC: I have a long list of questions to ask you. Do you mind? Anyway, here are the questions... SS: I'll do my best with these questions. MC: I'm a writer myself, so what advice would you give someone who'd love to get into writing? SS: First go for it. If you love writing you will love doing the work to put the book together! I got a book about writing books and agents by Jeff Herman. He also has an agency. His book is really great. It tells you the things that the agents want from you and which one's like which style of books. Publishers Weekly online is great for info on agents. Also do not get with an agent that wants money up front. SS: I was in chorus, and I could sing. I really loved dancing more! MC: You traveled around the world with the Backstreet Boys before, which place is your favorite and why? SS: I enjoyed all the traveling. So many places were so beautiful. I didn't have a favorite. MC: Okay, you were around people in show business for awhile, right? Did you ever get to meet a lot of celebrities? SS: This was mostly in Europe. I met a few people. MC: Did you ever go to any awards shows? SS: The boys were not allowed to take their girlfriends to award shows during the 4 yrs I was with Brian. I'm glad this has changed for their girlfriends now. MC: Aw, that sucks! I would kill to go to award shows. Anyway, your book was great and I fell in love with it immediately. Though, I noticed that you didn't answer the questions I always wanted to know. Did the boys use a lot of profanity just speaking to each other or in arguements? Who would be the one that swear the most? SS: No they didn't! they were normal guys but they didn't say ugly things using profanity to each other. MC: One of the questions asked if the boys used any drugs or alcohol? You answered it very well but did any of the guys smoke cigaretts? SS: No. MC: Not to dig too deep, exactly, what year did you permanatly parted with Brian Littrell? SS: Brian and I broke up the summer of 97. We did get together to sign on loan papers on the car we had together the summer of 98. MC: Were you a little bit jealous when you found out that Mr. Littrell got a new girl? Or you were already with you new man and didn't care? SS: Brian started dating Leighanne around two months after we broke up. This didn't bother me because this is a male thing to jump into another relationship. Girls need time to heal. So I understand this. MC: I know exactly what you mean. I know how guys are as for me being a girl myself. Well, here's the last question for now, how are things with your new handsome man? Not being disrespectful in anyway but between Stephen and Brian, who is the best? SS: I am very happy that Stephen and I are together he is a wonderful and amazing man. I didn't met him until Brian and I had been broken up for a year. I can not compare the two guys because that is wrong. I loved Brian when we were together and he is still special because he was my best friend for 4 yrs. Stephen is great! He is everything that I could imagine in a guy! He supports me 100 percent in everything that I do. I'm happy that Brian and I have found happiness in our lives. MC: That's wonderful. I guess that it takes more than being a Backstreet Boy to make a woman happy. For the BSB fans outthere who doesn't think their boyfriends are as great a BSB, think again. There are more to a great man than being a superstar. Thank you so much. Any last word? SS: Hope all is great with you! Thanks for the interview. Take care and have a smashing day! :o) |
