New Clear Vision Food Charity. A project of NCV that will hopefully bring awareness to the homeless problem around NJ as well as the world, to help out in the little ways that we can, and to just have a good time. Me and Sean (new member of the NCV team) are going to collect canned food from shows and donate that to local food banks, soup kitchens, shelters, ect. We are thinking about maby once a month to have a cookout stand. We can use the Community Medical Center Hospitals kitchen for the cooking and preperation, if not there sometimes, then a church perhaps. The food will be supplied by markets and grocery stores that can no longer sell vegatables, yet they are still edatable. Most will go along with the idea of us coming by at closing to pick up the veggies and not letting them go to waste. We are going to distribute any canned food that we can get, but we will only cook vegan based foods. Vegan food because of many reasons. We are not enforcing everyone to be vegan, nor vegetarian, but you must consider that homeless are going to be helping themselves to our meals. Everyone can eat vegan foods, but not everyone can eat meat The poor may have a reaction to eating the meat if they have been living off of fruits and vegatables for months also. Vegatables can preserve themselves much longer than a meat or cheese can. Plus, our meals will be mostly hot soups and broths, this is because they are water based and we can make alot more with less vegetables and its nice to have a hot meal on a cold day. So thats our reasoning and info on NCVFC. We dont know edzactly when and where we will set up our stand, butpdates will be given as soon as i get them. For questions, email me at Blodywankr@aol.com.
