BIO"S
Jesse was in many bands before Op Ivy includeing SAG with Aaron, and Jeff of crimpshrine, they were about 12 at the time in 1982.
I know Jesse put out a couple of fan zines, such as "Tedium",
"Kill deal for just $.50" and "Rats in the street". I know that when
Jake and him where strung out on exctacy Jake started coming on to him.
After Op Ivy Broke up he became a Monk in central america for around Six months i think, and after that he started "Big Rig" they were only around a
couple of months in 93 so they only put out 1 album. A recent article I found had an interview with jesse in it, he said he's starting to write songs again, but unfortunately he also said that if he did start a new band it wouldn't be a punk or ska band. He did start a new band (Common rider) and hes moving to chicago to join it, so i've heard.
Tim is most likely the best known member of Op Ivy. He was in Basic Radio
before Op Ivy but he said he was tired of playing trendy music that ended Basic Radio.
After OpIv him and Matt were in Downfall, not around long. They came out with a couple of songs,
all of witch were all damn good songs at least the ones I heard. Tim says that he's trying to put together a downfall album soon
so be looking around for it. Tim is now in rancid after being homeless for awhile.
He also worked at Gilman fixing toilets amung other things. He's got a lot of Side projects i.e the Silencers, and
Shake'n 69. He was in Me first and the Gimmie Gimmie's for a short time. Find out more about Tim
here
Matt is probably the second most famous member of Op Iv. He is in auntichrist as of now witch might I add are very good. Matt is some what of a car buff (so I've heard) considering he's owned some nice cars, such as a Chrystler newport, and now a Cherrie 1960's dodge dart.
Dave was the drummer for op iv, who was in Shlong and still might be for all I know. Dave grew up in albany, and i think was in Basic Radio with Tim and Matt (who also lived in albany). His dad was a Doctor and one day somehow Jesse got toilette paper stuck up his ass and Daves dad had to remove it. Thats about the extent of my Operation Ivy knowledge.
