History: Urban Lore tells me that when the rollercoaster closed down,
the Coaster owners lobbied to get it opened back up again. As thanks to
the Saloon, they were given the original front car from the old coaster.
Okay, down to business; you pay for drinks with coasters. You know,
those little things you put your beer on. 8 coasters cost 10 bucks so each
beer/well costs $1.25. Pretty good deal. I think on Thursdays you can buy
10 coasters for 10 bucks and then use them later (but don't tell them I
told you). Coasters do not cover all the drinks, of course, but certainly
most of them.
In addition to the great deals there's also a "patio" section that's
separate from the main bar with a pool table and plenty of room to move
around. I've been there on a Saturday night and it doesn't get too crowded.
So if you're at a show at 'Canes and don't want to stick around and pay
5 bucks for a beer, stroll on over.

"The Coaster rocks ASS!"
"Definitely local. I hung out there with some friends that lived two blocks
down and they were treated like tourists."
"They used to have banners up on the ceiling with a bunch of women's signatures
on them. To sign 'em the chicks had to stand up on the bar and take their
