Hi, my name is Kimberly Riggi Loines (but people just call me Kim), and this is my homepage. However modest it has become over the last *thinks back* 5 years, I DO now I have a picture up of myself. The wonders of modern technology!
Lately, I've been playing around with Paint Shop Pro 5, making titles for pages, one animation (of my titles *L*), a banner for my husbands SW RPG, and just to help me with my color HTML.
You'll find, if you talk to me, that I'm a pretty laid back person (except if you mention certain -THINGS- and then I'm a cranky pregnant person) and I like to try new things.
You can usually reach me through my e-mail or ICQ. My ICQ number is: 106083976, but PLEASE if it's porn, I'm not interested, I have a husband, he's all I need.
Well, maybe I should give a little update, because I KNOW you're dying to know about me, aren't you? I knew you were! I'm 19, I'll be 20 on May 5th! (Cinco de Mayo, even though I'm Italian, it still affects me *s*) My husband is 20, and he's from Chattanooga, that's where we are now. His family lives here.
I'm originally from MANY places: I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. My family moved to Dallas, Texas because my dad got a job there (he's a Sotware Engineer, in otherwords : COMPUTER DUDE! *L*). In 1989, we moved to Boston, Massachussetts, where my dads parents, Sal and Santa Riggi, lived. We stayed in Boston for a year, and we loaded up and moved to Tucson, Arizona.
Because of this, I LOVE TO TRAVEL! I haven't to been out of the US, but someday I will (with Keith of course *my hubby*). I have been to California, and I've seen both oceans. My happiest moment was walking with my husband on the shore, in San Diego, on our honey moon. (that was the most INTERESTING vacation ever, you'll have to ask me about it someday)
We're expecting our first baby/child/bambina, Audrey Jolene, on May 22nd, so if you catch my on that day and the baby's not born yet, try and encourage me, I'm sure I'll be depressed. *L* I just can't wait to snuggle with her and show her off. I have UltraSound pictures, but they don't scan well. *frown* BUT, as soon as she's born, we'll have tons of pictures to show our cyber pals! Just message me on ICQ, and if I'm not sleeping or doing something revolving around baby, I'll send you one.
Well that's about all about me. I guess that's enough for now.

GENERAL UPDATE ABOUT KIM...

I have realized that my homepage was entirely too cheery, and it may be because it's 5am, and I'm not sleeping, or it maybe because I feel that's not really me, all the time. Right now, and this won't be true next week, I'm at 29 weeks in my pregnancy.
This is good? Sorta. Well, probably it is. I don't know really. It just means that the scary trip to the delivery room is slowly creeping up on me. And that's a little scary for me, as it would be to anyone else (unless you're a guy, and then it's not quite as scary). So, this is my plan, as in football or any sport that is strategic (and maybe even chess), I have to have a plan of attack.
How am I going to have this baby without killing someone related to me, and even then, someone NOT related to me. Well my plan is already weak, as me and my husband don't believe in drugs. Which means, no drugs for Kimmers. Yes, I'm going to have to go through all the pain, which will be a good method of birth control later (I hope).
Second on my plan, is to eliminate all the people from the room that might aggrivate me or in general PISS ME OFF. This is will be a hard situation, as one of these people is my husbands mother. That's when my back-up person comes in. (sorry I don't know football well, but I'm thinking defensive linemen) The Doula.
For those of you peoples who don't know what a Doula is, let me give you the run down. Doula in Greek means "slave", but she's voluntary, and just because I'm in the south doesn't mean a damn thing! She's basically there to help me and my husband get through this birth thing, as comfortably as possible. And the great part is, she'll tell Keiths mom to bugger off for me! *sighs* The wonders of modern birthing. PLUS-- she'll be able to help Keith with the birth, and give us information as to what is happening and why.
Last on my plan is to actually have the baby, and be happy. I'm sure this will be the easy part, as it seems to have worked for several other people. We're having our child at the Womens East Pavillion in Chattanooga, TN (hopefully) because they have birthing rooms, which are more like a home setting. If we can't make it to the Womens Pavillion it's off to Erlanger, where the nurses know me by name, and blood type.
To explain this brief diversion, I have complied a list (as I don't really have anything else to do at 5:30 in the morning).

STUFF THAT HAPPENED TO KIM DURING HER PREGNANCY:

IN OTHER WORDS THINGS THAT SUCKED...
1.) We (my husband and I) decided that since I was pregnant to move to TN.
2.) ONE week (less than that, 3 days) after moving in, I nearly broke my ankle.
3.) I began to get "Morning Sickness" and was throwing up at work, a lot.
4.) Had to quit job at Convergys, to stay at home and deal with cigarette smoke instead.
5.) In November, I was taken to Memorial Hospital (in Hixson) ER to get fluids introveniously (IV) and some Phenegren.
6.) 3 days later I was admitted to Erlanger through the Emergancy Room (then transerred to Labor and Delivery) due to EXTREME dehydration. I now can't eat anything, but Jello.
7.) Doctor recommends that we get a perscription for Zofran, when our insurance kicks in.
8.) Throw up in doctors parking lot the same day.
9.) Is admitted to Erlanger again the next day, through the Triage unit.
10.) MEAN b!tch nurse, sticks an IV needle in my left wrist, IV stays there for FOUR days.
11.) Spends TWO days at Erlanger, and put on BRAT diet. (Banannas, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast. THAT'S IT)
12.) Learn the wonders of applesauce and honey nut cherrios.
13.) The home health care nurse (Terri *a guy* and Connie) come to take out the old IV hub, and insert a new one. Kim nearly passes out in kitchen.
14.) Had to spend "quality time" with Keith mother.
15.) Fianlly got better, thanks to Zofran and being hooked to an IV everynight, with the help of Nurse Keith. (he's adorable)
16.) The IV hub is taken out permenantly, by Connie.

That concludes my venting for today..please tune in for more later.

Places to Journey and Stories

This is my friend Tanyas (Amy) Elfwood page. She's is a FANTASTIC artist, and writer. (She completely blows me out of the water, it's all those Greek genes *S*)

This is my story about two people. I don't know what they are going to do, or how they're going to do it, but I'm sure they will. (Unfinished)

This is a story about a boy who through increadible odds (or it wouldn't be interesting) becomes the Archmage. This is an RP I did with a VERY good friend of mine, and it's unfinished as well, but it should be finished soon *L*

This is my poetry page, I just updated it (03-01-01) with 3 new poems. I just can't churn them out like I used to. Hopefully you like them.
