Why we all yawn is an often asked question but one easily answered. Most people think we are all descended from apes but whilst that is true originally, modern man died out 2500 years ago and we are all descendents of about 50 people. These people are from our future but came back and built the pyramids and stuff and fathered the world as we know it.
To cut a long story short, we as humans destroyed our planet many years ago, but colonizers found new planets. This happens in the future (from now) but they travelled back to Earth, but Earth of a few thousand years ago to recolonize, before all the global destruction had taken place. On the way here (, a very very long way here,) 2 out of 3 oxygen generators failed and because everyone had slowed down their metabolism, this wasn't a problem. But some people got sick and others thought that this was to do with the lack of oxygen, so some people started taking big gulps of air. Those that didn't died, and those that did, survived. These people trained themselves so well that it is now an instinct that we all perform on a daily basis, or hourly if we have a bad job. (sigh)
