This screeching, eardrum busting wall of noise is often times
thought of by fans and critics as a worthless track.  But in my
opinion, the caustic track is a beautiful interlude into one of
the most peaceful sounds on album, the opening riff of the 
record's next song, Medicine Hat.  The haunting echo of high
pitched harmonica squeel that Son Volt likes to call Jodel is
perfectly placed as the third track on Wide Swing Tremolo.
