Love Across the Ocean Part 1
This came to me in a dream and now if you ever go into a tea on AOL you will
find me forever playing this part (but with a different name)
I walked along the beach in a half shirt that also showed my shoulders, and a
short skirt. My long brown hair hung loosely around my face and shoulders. I
wonderer what the reunion would be like, if he had forgotten me or not. I came
up to the beach house, excited but wary. I hadn't seen my cousin Micky in ten
years. I knocked on the door and a tall, thin man wearing a green hat opened the
door.
"Howdy! whatcha need?" he asked in a texan accent.
"My name's Michelle," i said, in my Scottish accent. I had lived in Scotland
all my life. "I'm looking for my cousin, Micky."
"Well come on in, Michelle. I'm Mike." Mike led me inside and told me to sit
down. I sat down while Mike yelled up the stairs, "Micky! You've got company!"
Micky came running down the stairs. "Who is it Mike?" Mike pointed to me.
"Michelle!" Micky cried, running over. We hugged each other and started to talk.
An hour later two other people came in.
"Michelle, I'd like you to meet my
other roommates. This is Peter," he said. The one with sandy-brown hair waved
and I smiled.
"And this is Davy." I looked at him. He was shorter than the
others, but I didn't care because i was the same size. He was very cute and i
fell in love with him instantly. Davy smiled at me.
"'Ello luv!" he said in his English accent. He took my hand and kissed it.
"'Ow are you?"
I smiled. "I'm fine" I said. He looked at me in suprise.
"Where you from, luv?" he asked
"Scotland" I answered. By this time i was totally in love with him and had
almost forgotten about Micky.
Apperantly Micky could tell i was in love.
"Davy," he said, "Why don't you
show Michelle around? I have a couple things i need to do and I don't want her
to be bored."
Davy looked at Micky and smiled. "Sure, Micky!" Then he took my arm and led
me outside. "See ya, Micky!" Davy called as we walked out.
"Bye, Micky!" I called. Micky waved at us and ran back upstairs. I sighed
happily. I loved being with Davy.
"So how do you like it here?" Davy asked as we walked along the beach.
I looked at the ocean. "It's beautiful here. But sometimes i feel kinda
homesick." I looked at Davy. "Do you ever feel that way? I mean I can tell
you're not from around here."
Davy nodded as we sat down. "Yeah, I do sometimes. But I do know one thing."
"What?" I asked.
"I'm glad you're here." He leaned over and kissed me slowly on the lips. I
was suprised by the kiss, not expecting it. But I kissed back passionately. Davy
put his hands on my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck. Then Davy moved
his arms around to my back, pulling me closer to him. We sat there kissing, then
I pulled away.
"What's wrong, luv?" Davy asked.
"This isn't right" I said. "I mean, I barely know you and I'll be leaving for
Scotland in two days. I know I love you and I don't want anyone's heart to be
broken when I leave, though I'm afraid it's too late for that." I started to cry.
Davy held me close, trying to comfort me. What'll we do? I thought. I'd be
leaving in two days, and Davy and I were in love...
